So, the Vegas frontrunner is Hill? Well, keep in mind that betting lines are not designed to predict outcome - they are designed so that betting is balanced 50/50 (i.e. half the betting goes with the house, half goes against).

W. has better odds than his wife, despite being constitutionally precluded from running! Ridiculous!

Whaddaya think? I like my Delaware boy Joe Biden. Always have.

I don't think Mr. Steele's bookie has an online presence .

Like the man said, these odds are calculated to create statistical arbitrage for the house, not as a reflection or prediction of the probabilities that these candidates will be elected. IOW, the odds track how people are betting not how people will be voting.

Yeah, I reached up me arse and pulled out whatever sounded good.

These numbers come from Sportsbook.com, which uses the WorldGaming service - one of a handful of white label e-Bookie companies. So while it may not be straight-out-of-Vegas numbers (which are still decided by the casinos) there is very little variance in the odds between books, whether they're online and based in the Cayman islands or if they're a "traditional" Vegas book.

These are the most ridiculous lines since the Rams gave 14.5 points to the Patriots! Although, I guess they cater to the betters, and of course, the house always wins.

I just dug this old thread up - I wonder who even knew the name Barack Obama back when these lines were posted, three years ago, with him at 70-1? I honestly don't remember if I did...

But I called Biden! Sorta!
