i don't know what material it's made out of, maybe a vinyl type of material with fabric inside? anyway, it really smells cuz i had to take home a tupperware container that had garlic vinaigrette (sp?) in it and i think it leaked a little. this is basically the only purse i use, so i really need to get it cleaned. can i just toss it into the washer without any damage? please help - i can't take the smell any longer!!

Yeah, I would throw it in the washer on a gentle cycle. Then let it air dry. I've washed mine several times. (they always get covered in makeup) Anyway, good luck!

Baking soda is good at absorbing odors. I don't know how well it would work in this situation, but it's worth a try. I would spinkle some inside, rub it around a little, and let it sit overnight if possible. Then just tap out the extra.
