today I bought two pairs of glasses for $300.00 (they were on sale 2 for 300.00 no tax!) but after I get the cheque from insurance it will only be $50.00 out of my pocket.

Quickie stop at Wild Oats:

1 bag of organic gala apples

small bottle of orange juice

four Amy's frozen meals

tub of Earth Balance

2 bags of peeled carrots (they're having a buy-one-bag-get-one-free special this week!)

spring mix

romaine

and 1/2 pound of quinoa and black bean salad (vegan!) from the deli counter, which I tried and is pretty good.

Imagine what else I could get with a not-so-quickie-stop at that market.

ETA: Actually, if I REALLY wanted to go nuts at a HF market, I would have stopped at Whole Foods cause they're bigger and have more stuff than Wild Oats. But Wild Oats is only 2 minutes from home and I just wanted to run in on my way home for some apples.

Today I stopped by our ritziest second-hand store. I came home with one pair of brown-paisley Kenneth Cole slacks, one cinnamon colored tie-at-the waist wrap sweater, one bee-u-t-ful cinnabar green sweater, and a purple and black paisley v-neck t-shirt. I am mighty pleased!
