I'm having a milestone birthday this year and will have a huge party this summer. Pretty much everyone knows that I (and my family) are vegan/vegetarian . All of the food will be veggie but I'm wondering if there are other ways to get the message across in a festive way. I'm looking for party goods that have a vegetarian theme but haven't found anything. Other ideas would be appreciated.

I have no idea how to do something like that without ruining the mood of the party.

Our wedding was vegetarian. It was part of a whole "theme" of the wedding of respecting our environment/nature/everything. Serve awesome food, and it will speak for itself. Show people that vegetarian foods are delicious, and when they leave satisfied but not with stomach bursting in agony from nasty animal fats, that will communicate volumes. I would recommend against trying to use "props" or decorations of any kind to further the message. It will make your guests uncomfortable and could actually backfire against the cause you care so much about.
