INFP; I can't believe how many of us there are! I thought this was supposed to be a more rare type.

I became vegetarian because I've always hated the idea of eating animals--it just took me 27 years to get smart enough to do something about it.

E/I: roughly 75% I.

N/S: mostly S...by a long shot.

T/F: roughly 50-50. Among men, there are slightly more T's. Among women, there are slightly more F's.

P/J: more J's, but by a small margin

Yeah, its an ES*J world.

I looked real quick and unfortunately the source I found grouped differently than the poll and I don't want to count individual results but here it goes:

mass at ES** 52%

mass at EN** 20%

mass at IS** 24%

mass at IN** 4%

Source shows uniform distribution amount the four possibilities within each grouping.

ETA: This is a horrible sample to determine correlation between vegetarians and personality types. Intuitively (and I am 100% intuitive hahahaha *groan*) the fact that this is an online community weighs far more heavily than the fact that we are mostly vegetarians. I suspect all online communities would show dramatically more I*** and substancially more IN** than the population at large.

I'm ENTP which is quite a surprise because I thought I'd come up more idealistic.

INTP, this time around. Depending on my mood when I take such tests, I either come out as INTP or a INFP.

o_o;; i really don't understand this but anyways..:

Type: ISFP

Introverted: 94%

Sensing: 1%

Feeling: 67%

Perceiving: 11%

* very expressed introvert

* slightly expressed sensing personality

* distinctively expressed feeling personality

* slightly expressed perceiving personality

heh "SPIF"-fy

I became vegetarian because i felt strongly about not wanting to kill an innocent creature, and the thought of eating it's flash made me sick. I always wanted to join in with the activism, the non violent/damaging types though and to help educate people about it.. but my extreme introvertedness stopped me from even trying. So the best i could do is to be vegetarian and once i get on my feet fully to turn fully vegan. so erm.. ^^;; yeah.

I became a vegetarian when I wasn't informed at all about any of the issues and didn't know any vegetarians. I just thought it was wrong and kind of gross to eat animals.

I went vegetarian after seeing a documentary about the conditions for animals on factory farms.

ENFJ last time I took the test, which was a while ago. Not sure if I've moved in any other direction over time, but I know I'm still an idealist...

I am vegan for many reasons. Primarily environmental, but also animal rights and health. I also prefer vegetables over anything else to eat.
