it is trditional at christmas time for friends to visit each others homes.as our community here lives all over this home planet of ours, that is not possible in the convential sense.however,i thought the next best thing was to invite each other into each others homes by posting pics of our chritmas trees or other christmas themed items that our in in our homes on this thread.would anyone care to join me?with sincere love from vegan heart.xxx.

pretty tree.

All I have is a dinky fake tree that I have had for over ten years and I can't seem to part with it. One of these days I should upgrade.

Beautiful tree, Vegan Heart!

My tree has been standing in the corner of my living room naked all week! I shall try to decorate this weekend, but have yet to decide which ornaments I wish to leave vulnerable to waggy dog tail syndrome. Two years ago, I made the mistake of placing the tree in front of their favorite window. Who knew trees could spin like that! Ornaments flew off in every direction smashing on the wall. I think I will also refrain from making any popcorn chains

Very pretty!

This is the first year my sweetie & I have put up a tree together. We have decided to make all the ornaments, so it will be pretty bare this year. But I'll try to get a decent pic once we put on the lights, ribbon, candy canes and 6 or 8 snowflakes I made, and before the cats & dogs demolish the whole darn thing.

I've just bought lots of yummy Green & Black chocolate and wrapped it all up so I can't be tempted. Maya Gold is the invention of the Devil! Love your tree Vegan Heart. Think I'll wait at least another week before I get mine. The heat here can knock them around and I want it to look nice on Christmas Day.

I *finally* got our tree up last night. We still need to have the boys put on candy canes tonight though. And as you can see, our fireplace is sorely in need of a mantle. But I'm gonna get one maybe today that I can make my husband put together

So if any VB'ers are in Jacksonville this holiday season, let me know. We'll have you over for good vegan food! (Either that or I'll put you to work helping with the mantle!)

maybe when i get to my mom's christmase eve i'll get a pic of her tree, which always looks fantastic, and post it. (she has a digi)

The boys would love those ornaments veganheart. They just adore the nightmare before Christmas. My tree doesn't really have a theme. The garlands are red & gold shiny beads, and there red & gold and green & gold bows. But it's a mish-mosh. Things the boys made. And we buy something every year to add to it.

a menorah is a special jewish candle holder which holds 8 iddy biddy candles.over an 8 day period you light 1 on the first night,2 on the second etc till on the eigth day 8 candles shine and blaze.its to celebrate a time when some jewish folks were in crisis but by some miracle their oil/lamps did not run out and they had...light,yay!i guess im right as i am not frum/religious,lol.
