Looking into going to Law School in England instead of grad school here in the States. Anyone know ANYTHING about this? I am trying to get some idea of requirements (i.e. if I get into a program that offers an LLM degree, and I get that degree, can I expect that I'll find work?)

Anyone? Anything?

My brothers girlfriend is in the last year or so of a law course. I have only met her once- so know very little about what she is doing. If you PM me a few questions I will email my brother and see if she can help out. Out of interest how come you want to do law in the UK?

I don't know. Fear of failure? Indecision? Afraid I can't succeed in the Ivy League?

I was admitted to an expensive grad school program for counselling, and I might not have the money by next year. So in case that doesn't work out, I need to work out a couple of other plans. Now, law school in England might not sound more financially-viable, but it is, for details that need not be mentioned.

I don't know. I've got some research to do. I appreciate your offering to query your bro's GF. I'll hold off on that for now, because I might just give up in the next 2 hours. But I do appreciate you offering.
