I can believe I'm actually in my twenties (if only barely...)

Azalea....I know what you mean! 22 here. It's like - HUH? Where did time go. Really from about 14 to now....bam. I blinked and aged 8 years.

I would be depressed, but I am starting to make all these plans that I KNOW I CAN ACHIEVE if I reach them...

Like learning (and going) to Japan for after I graduate University this year, finally getting my crappy driver's (don't laugh...I was phobic for awhile....people and their cars. You know, the whole road rage thing...and I'm timid. And when I was 16, most people thought I was 9 cause I was just hovering at 80 lbs, in the 4 feets with half my baby teeth and dimples when I smiled. I swear, I lack human growth hormone...I still take 4.5 girls shoes! Ok, enough about that...)

Yeah, most people think I'm 14/15 now. That's with makeup. My voice is really young sounding too. So it blows peoples minds.

But I think, emotionally, I was very mature for my from a young age, and my moral appreciation for animals and the environment and my fellow man was all pretty intact and similar to how I perceive those issues now.

In fact, the only way that I feel I HAVE grown is a) I'm more forgiving and less likely to hold onto anger. b) I like Audrey Hepburn movies now and no longer perceive the 'classic' movies as too slow or boring! c) I'm an incurable romantic (still, never had a boyfriend, but heck, I was a tomboy until 13 - NINJA TURTLES!) and d) I have amassed more little factoids and learned more esoteric that *really* matters though...

I think adolescence is a slow process though cause I don't really FEEL different from about 10 years ago. So either I bypassed it completely, or I'm still in it!

I guess I'd call myself youthful, but not immature, because I am responsible in ways a lot of people my age and older still are not...

I don't think drinking at bars or being all flashy with clothing ARE marks of's not like that takes thought or talent or care of thought or I SOMETIMES think that people who associate that WITH becoming more grown up are actually more adolescent in thought than those who can see past that...

I don't know if I'm making sense, or if the coffee is making me wired. Definitely the latter, and hopefully the former as well.

Got to split now. I have Japanese
