I've got the barefoot blues.

I must be dreaming of summer, because the only think I can think about at the moment is how I wish my feet were warm enough to go barefoot! Does anyone else loooong to go barefoot? Do you like your feet touching the earth, or do you prefer to wear flip flops or shoes?

I don't know if it is my weight, or my diabetes, but I find barefoot walking painful.

I am very much a socks person. I wear socks almost all the time, even to bed.

I am also a shoes person as I am the type to walk through a field of thorn bushes at any moment. Same reason I wear long pants 99% of the time.

I'm barefoot all the time when at home. Inside the house or in the garden. Winter or Summer.
My feet are so conditioned to being cold that I have to kick them out of the bedclothes at night.
I'd go barefoot outside more often if it wasn't for all the dog crap that people leave on pavements and footpaths.

I like being barefoot, and used to go barefoot all the time. However, after having stepped into vomit inside and various forms of excrement outside past my tolerance levels, I now wear sandals indoors all year 'round, and shoes of some sort always when outdoors.

Oh no no no no no no no. Did I mention 'no'? Environmental hazards *shudders*

I much prefer to go barefoot when I'm at home, I don't think it's healthy for feet to be enclosed too much.

When I was in Thailand the locals were always shouting at me to put shoes on due to the scorpion population. I stepped on a decaying squid near the beach once (presumably dropped by a predator of some kind); I started wearing flip flops after that ....

I like flip flops and wear them most of the summer, but there's really nothing like going barefoot in the summertime on the beach or on the rocks by the river near my house.

Flip flops are okay, as long as they don't hurt between the toes.

There is nothing like barefoot... Got the blues too!

Bare feet on the ground is very relaxing to me.

I went barefoot outside a lot back home, but I live in the city now and there always seems to be broken glass and other various debris lying around in my neighborhood.

I'm going to the coast on vacation in the spring. I'll definitely be barefoot there.

Barefoot in the house, barefoot on sandy beaches around Lake Superior ( I used to run for miles barefoot along a sandy stretch of beach), shoes everywhere else. Most of the terrain in NE Minnesota does not cater to bare feet lol, but I actually have seen barefoot runners on some insanely rocky trails around here. Not for me.
