We all have our "friends" on VB, but which VBers actually line up closest to you in terms of their philosophy on AR, PETA, veg*nism, environment etc.?

I don't always get into debates and stuff because quite often there are a few VBers already there, expressing what I would want to express.

For me, the VBers who seem to be around the same wavelength as me are mountainvegan (thank heavens he's back!), sevenseas (although I don't always follow everything he says ), Frost, Bobsy, Oatmeal, Mikie, Flower, epski, and Auroralily (although she's more socialist than me ).

There are others who I have many similarities with (i.e. Krista the posseur), but I'd say the above-mentioned people almost always make me nod my head in agreement.

Who do you think matches you closest?

Meatless , Mountainvegan, Sevenseas, Bobsy, Oatmeal, and Flower I usually agree with on most things. There probably are others that I'm forgetting or haven't had enough experience reading their posts. Actually, I think The Rev and I are on the same wavelength at times, too.

I think I share similar views and such with Rebelgirl, Ebola, Punkmommy and Kreeli. There are others that do, as you said, say things in forums that i would've said, but i can't remember who they are.

Yes, we're pretty close... you're a little more "militant" () than me in terms of what constitutes a particular diet, but as far as a lot of other aspects of veg*nism go we're pretty similar.

Most everyone who replied in the Punk Music thread I made. I don't recall most of their names as they don't post often. They seem to be the type of folks who do not agree with our current politicians and most of the policies in the U.S. I also like the fact that they dress and look however they want and do not let the mainstream dictate to them what is "normal". I have a huge amount of respect for folks like them.

I also tend to agree with those who are strict vegans and I appreciate the "tree hugging" animal loving type folks.

No one really, but there are some common things:

meatless' view on parmesan cheese and "not throwing the crackers out with the soup" style of environmentalism

I forgot someone! Tearh2song - I agree with her a lot on waste, environmentalism, and general co-existence.

I've been told that I'm the female counterpart to Tame and that I should have a sex change if I want to be a man..so, maybe my opinions are a little masculine. So I'd have to say philosophically it would have to be Tame, Kreeli, and Krista.

All for different reasons: Krista, Budda, Mouse, Loki, Ruthie, Christy, Life2K, and oddly enough Tame on some days.

With relationships, I usually agree with Tame and MsRuthieB

Politics...now that's a different story

Neat question.

MRB, Robert, KC Kid, Christy, and Bank all stand out. I think Michael see a lot fo things the same way, and krista and I seem to view reltionship issues the same as well.

But it also seems I have some level of agreement with almost everyone else (a few notable exceptions) at some time or another.

Be honest, almost everyone here has started a post with "I hate to agree with Tame but..." or "Tame is right..."

Is guilty of starting a post like that....

I tend to agree most with Michael and Ms Ruthie. But I think sometimes also that I see things very differently from most of you. But I tend to not debate on things so much, cause I think it's a waste of time.

For varying reasons: Tame, Artichoke, meatless, missleigh (I know we agree on a lot IRL, but she doesn't post a lot), Robert, Bank, SDG, MRB, krista...I may have to come back and add more.

I guess I should start posting more, no one's mentioned me.

Anyhow. On diet, I am in the kpickell camp a lot of the time.

Depending on the issue, I agree with kirkjobsluder, epski, bobsy, and mikie. On personal issues I agree Krista often and Kreeli with issues of women and family.

I haven't posted much in any discussions of AR, but although I have a very pragmatic view about diet and activism, I have pretty radical philosophical views on AR. Probably to the surprise of some.

And yes, I do agree with Tame on practical issues. Like money. But our politics are very different.

And thumbs up to (now absent) Robert for general diplomacy, politeness and keeping a positive tone even when he's seriously p'oed.
