Oh it wasn't that bad. But again, I'm my view of pain is somewhat skewed in this department as I am a HUGE fan of needles. I love being pierced. Take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Both at once? I had one done... later the ring started growing out on one side, and it looked stupid so I took it out.

Yes. Well, my left first and then my right- but they were both done in the same appointment. I got 12 gauge barbells which are normally a better bet (than rings) to prevent infection and rejection. Hopefully I won't have to deal with rejection. I haven't had any problems with any of my other piercings, so hopefully these will be the same.

How in the heck did you get your parents permission? I remember they made you take out your lip piercing not that long ago.

Ugh...of all places I wouldn't want to be pierced...that's up there. I hope you don't get any infections or complications.

Q: How many poets does it take to change a light bulb? A: 1001...one to change the bulb, 1000 to say it's already been done.

You definitely speak for me, Brownie. The very thought of it makes me shudder.

I hope you heal well and quickly, Stellar!

Well, so long as Stellar is over 18, I say this thread is totally worthless without several pics . . . .

I was 17 years old when that happened. I'm 19, now and I live 350 miles away from home.

mine are on my to do list, but I have to find a place to go, I know the guys at tattoo bills just a little too well to let them mess with the boobies. Congrats! and don't let the rats nibble them.

yay! i've had mine done for almost three years now. honestly, i didnt think they hurt at all to have done, but i think i have a fairly high pain tolerance as i think tattooing feels kinda good (at least until about three or four hours in, when you start getting sore). i had mine pierced with 10g straight barbells, but after they healed i had them changed to 10g circular barbells which i love.

i dont know what your piercer has you do for aftercare, but remember, sea salt soaks are your friend! i wouldnt recommend overwashing them with soap, but rather just soaking them a couple of times a day with sea salt (1/4 teaspoon sea salt per 8oz water) for about 10-15 minutes and afterwards gently cleaning off any gunk with a q-tip. but it sounds like you know what your doing with piercings, so you probably dont care much about what i have to say

good luck with the healing process!

Very cool. I'm not going there, since I'm quite "blessed," and any jewelry there would be obvious. I'm planning on my next piercing being further south too.

Of all the things I've had pierced, what hurt most was the upper-lip in the corner. Such thick skin tissue there. Was horrible. Easiest/least painful was the septum.

You must have been pretty close to 18 then because that was just last May (in 03). I knew it wasn't two years ago....anyhow, good luck out there! Congrats on your independence.
