How about one with various nature sounds (a babbling brook, the forest at night, the forest in the day time, the ocean), it changes automatically for DST, you can set the two different alarms for M-F, Sat and Sun, or the whole week.

However, I am developing an inferiority complex (or my alarm clock is rather) to seeing budda's beautiful yellow spongebob. But now the most important question, does spongebob talk?

wow. i feel deprived. i got mine free from to bank when i opened up my first checking account. that was 13 years ago. however, it does have a teenage mutant ninja turtle sticker on it, and a amazingly loud screechy alarm.

have you guys seen that natural daylight clock?

I have three

One plays your choice of 9 caribbean tunes as the alarm

One is the Zen Alarm Clock (which wakes me up way too slow)

One is DoRaeMon Alarm clock (fun but annoying after a while)

None of them gives temperature though

LOL formerbaboon - I use my PDA for my alarm clock. Works like a charm. OTOH, it's the most expensive alarm clock I've ever owned.

mine now isn't too cool

but i had this stuffed animal alarm clock for a while that shook like mad and said an assortment of morning related phrases when it went off. You had to find it in the bed, grab it, and push its nose to shut it off. I wanted it dead all the time, but it did wake me up!! (this was in college, btw, not when i was 6)

Pfft to all of you! I have the best alarm clock in the world. He's white, furry, barks, named Poco and you can see pictures of him in the companion animals photo album

I actually have this silver one I got at the 99cent store. All it does it beep. Nothing fancy, nothing too cool. It is round though...Ooo yeah. I can see the jealousy now.

it doesn't matter what my alarm clock is. i always always always wake up at least ten minutes before it goes off. sometimes fifteen, sometimes twenty. always in increments of five. it's bizarre. i have never been wakened by an alarm.

Mine is a baseball catcher that plays music and then says "Strike One! Strike Two!" Then the crowd cheers and then it says "Home Run! Home Run!" Then it starts over. The button to turn it off is a baseball and when you press it, it says "Good morning."

I just got a new alarm clock...

it starts by waking me with the sound of ocean (or forest, or wind, or brook)

then 15 minutes later a soft beep happens....

so nice...........

I use my watch alarm. I have two perfectly good digital alarm clocks (one with choice of radio or buzzer...ooooh) but I don't like the blasting beeps that fly at me. So I use my watch alarm, which is equally annoying, but at least it's close to my other hand so I can turn it off really quickly. It has a button that makes the screen light up blue. Yay!

Two seperate alarms, shows the temperature, projects the time on the wall or ceiling, wirelessly synched to the atomic clock.
