ACK!! yuck yuck yuck! *shiver* I am very sensitive about my eyes, I have a hard time putting in eye drops. There is no way in hell I would let someone screw around with my eyes for simply cosmetic purposes.

I'm sensitive about my eyes, and I can say that I'd never consider getting this done. Not in a million years.

aww, is it really any worse than laser eye surgery??

it's JUST an eye! (and it's not a piercing, it's an implant)

I thought the picture was going to be really gross, but it actually wasn't. I would never do that, but it doesn't really surprise me that people are. I'm still waiting for the "amputate limbs" trend to hit.

I was thinking EWWW THIS IS GOING TO BE GROSS. But actually I think it's kinda cute!

I wouldn't get it done though, I'm sure there must be a massive risk of going blind, and also it looks like it'd be kinda irratating!

yah, no kidding.

now, if it were like a super-huge contact that went outside the rim of the iris... that'd be cool. You could have one with a little monkey climbing the iris. heh.

Didn't really gross me out or surprise me all that much. I wouldn't do that though--EVER. My eyesight is way too precious to me to gamble on it that much just to try to look good.

Well, I have seen butt implants and people who get little silicone spikes implanted under thier skin. I wonder what's next, elbow rings? butt rings? liver piercing?

Why do the implants when you can have These

its illegal for FEMALES to get their hooha pierced in gerogia, its considered "female genital mutilation" but men are free to pierce their genitals as much as they want! *grr* I thought the eyball implant was pretty f*ckin awesome! i would love one, if i knew i wouldnt go blind and that it wouldnt be like having a bug in your eye or what not.

That's not gross at all.

I think it would make more sense to create better contact technology that could carry a shiny piece of metal like that so it can be popped in and out of the eye easily however! It would also be cheaper for the consumer, I would imagine.

I just had a thought for some reason.

'Magine this. What if this is some sort of test to see how many people would buy into this. And what if the gov't uses that to their advantage...you know, implant an I.D. piece in your eye. The gov't would know where and what you were doing at all times.

Sounds like freaky sci-fi doesn't it?

I think its cute - there's nothing wrong with self-expression so long as it harms no-one else.

I used to date a fetish model *gloats* she had some very pretty (but very impractilcal) back peircings, she told me there's even worser stuff out there...

I don't like it much and i sure as beans wouldn't get one, but each to their own.

And it's not as bad as a lot of stuff out there.

I think the heart is stupid, but if it was like a platinum iris i would so get it. but in the white area, it just looks bad. It also looks bloodshot too in some of the pictures I saw from reuters.
