As you know (I hope) DDR is one of, if not the best game on earth.

Who's addicted? What's your favorite song on it? Anything else?

-------------

I like DDR Max2 (which is what they have at the mall and what some of my friends have) and my favorite song is healing vision on light even though I always fail it.

I don't have a playstation though so I can't play at home

If you are unfortunate enough to have never played/heard of DDR, heres a page devoted to it:

http://www.ddrfreak.com/

I'm sure a google search would bring up tons of results.

Anyone ever tried FFR (Flash flash revolution), ddr online on the computer. I dont think its any fun at all

I'm addicted!

I need to start shopping for a new dance pad. I hate when I step on an arrow and it doesn't work.

Soo.. does anyone have any suggestions?

The one thing I hate about the ones at home, is that the dance pads always seem to slide while you are playing.

Suggestions...hmmm...the instructions always say to turn your body as you play but that messes me upt. Also, make sure you aren't trying to move your feet back to the center after each move because that makes it tons harder.

I'm not a DDR player, but as to the sliding problem, how about putting some of that non-skid rubbery stuff between the pad and the floor?

There is one at the Youth Center here. I snuck in once during school hours to give it a go. Ha! - I couldn't make it past the first level on the easiest setting. It's fun to watch the kids though.

ahhhh! *super-ddr-addict* i don't have a particular favorite song, since i like a whole lot of them and it depends on my mood and stuff, but i can attest that in the navy on heavy is one heck of a butt workout

Oh, ho ho, Michael! Look who's here!

Presenting the One, the Only....

VEGANKAT, GOD OF DDR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a hardcore DDR addict. Whoa man. Watch out for me, kids. I'll be playing your arses in tourneys nationwide.

Favorite songs, in no particular order except the first:

Look To The Sky (True Color Mix)

True...

Dive

Healing Vision

Exotic Ethnic

Matsuri Japan

Boom Boom Dollar (K.O.G. G3 Mix)

Rhythm and Police

and, it's overplayed now, but Sandstorm. I loved that one before it was on Max, though.

I knew this one would bring you out of the woodwork! That's the only reason I even came in here!

So how do you know who's good at DDR? Do you get a score or something?

You get grades, like in school, only DDR GRADES ARE MORE IMPORTANT AND ARE PROOF OF YOUR WORTH ON THIS PLANET!

Just kidding.

Maybe.

You can get "E" instead of "F", and if you do really well, you can even "AAA". You're graded on your timing for each step. If you suck ass, the announcer will say degrading things BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT!

Just kidding.

Maybe.

Yes. I'm addicted to all Bemani. Here are my modded pads: http://extremespin.com/tommy/ddr/

Unfortunately they're kinda screwed up now, so I need to fix them or buy new ones. Favorite songs...too many to pick.

I went out and got a Red Octane pad today.. finally. The old cheap pad I had before wasn't registering steps.

Do you wear shoes when you play at home?

I could wear shoes because I have clear plastic covers, but I never do. Just wear socks. If I had metal pads I'd definitely wear shoes, but they're expennnnsive. Shipping is almost as much as the pads. Someday, someday.
