I buy all my personal products from Lush. They have shampoo, lotions, and body wash. Not all of them are vegan, but only because of honey, none are tested on animals.

I usually pay $18 for the 250mL. I'm not a rep so I'm not going to defend their ridiculous prices

I've heard some people recommend White Rain, but I've never been sure about their vegan bona fides. Dr. Bronner's is a castille soap liquid or solid. Chandrika and Kirk's are bar soaps. I ****ing love Chandrika, but haven't used it in a while.

I'd order that blue stuff if it weren't out of stock.

Do you use their soap, too?

uh not a fan of lush at all! Their products are full of harshness like SLS and parabens. I tried Cynthia Stout shampoo and Veganese conditioner. The Stout dries out my hair. The Veganese was ok but I had to use sooo much of it. Plus its pretty pricy. I'm using Avalon products now...so much nicer.

Also, beware of EGG WHITES in their shampoos and conditioners. EW

As soon as this solid shampoo stops being out of stock, I will order it. And I will order this soap soon.

Their site says that they don't use animal products and have never tested on animals. Sounds vegan to me.

I don't have a sense of smell (or it's very weak), so that won't be a problem for me.

The shipping is more than the soap.

What's SLS?

Edit: Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Not on the list of ingredients on the bottle in my bathroom, it uses ALS instead.

I use Lush products, and I like 'em.

And egg whites are nothing compared to some of the crap pumped into a lot of hair products.

White Rain is junk, don't waste your money.

Do you, by chance, have an Ulta near you?

Is that a store? If so, not that I'm aware of.

Stand fast, I just used their store locator. There is one in Silver Spring just off a Metro stop.

They carry a lot of vegan shampoo, the prices vary. I like to go and buy big bottles that last a year. They have smaller bottles too. They carry Sammy, which is vegan. They have Abba. I'm pretty sure the Ulta line is vegan too, but I'm not 100% sure. I bought 2 giant bottles of it when they had their Buy 2, Get 2 Free sale (bf got the other 2). Because we split the deal, we paid $12 each.

Browse their site, they have a lot.

Am I the only one using Pureology? The stuff is expensive, unless you know the right people. Works great.

There's also a Lush in Montgomery Mall, in Bethesda North (Md), and likely are more in VA.

Are you guys in the DC area? I'm working on meeting more veggie lovers around here!
