Some shopping adventures after work on Thursday:
1. Gas station - fill 'er up - $51.05
2. Bed, Bath and Beyond - Oxo manual can opener - $19.99 but I had a BBB 20% of any single item coupon so it was, after tax, $17 and change. Jenn, I had intended to try to use an expired coupon and see if they'd take it, but I found an unexpired coupon and used that instead.
3. Target Pharmacy - b/c prescription refill - $126
4. Target I only had 3 coupons against all the stuff I bought, but some of the stuff was on sale:
5 different solid color tee shirts $8 each
2-pack Hanes bras $14
6-pack Hanes underwear $8
3-pack socks $8
potato chips $4
tortilla chips $3.99
1 bag peeled carots $1.50 on sale
1 box cherries $4.99
2 cases of Diet Dr. Pepper on sale for $2.79 each
1 block of Tillamook cheddar cheese $3.39
1 4-pack of Nestle's Ice Cream Drumsticks (vanilla) $2.69 on sale
3 bags 80-count Halls Vitamin C at $2.99 each
1 maroon plastic serving tray $1.99
2 boxes Kleenex hand towels at $2.99 each
2 60-count small paper plates at $2.49 each
1 box plastic forks $1.67
4-pack of Kleenex tissues - $6.64 but I had a 75 cent Target coupon so it was $5.89
4 cans of Tidy Cats cat litter deodorizer at $2.39 each - the price has gone up a little but it's still way cheaper at Target than anywhere else
36 cans Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys cat food 75 cents each and I had two $1 off coupons each for 18 cans so that was $26.64. I would save some money if the furries would only eat dry food, but I can't seem to wean them off canned food.
minus $8.05 5% Target card savings
add the tax back in $13.20
new total $166.17
w/ a savings of $16.17
I need to get more coupons, damnit.
And find a better paying job, too.
