Someone in the slut thread just informed me that "no one wears nightgowns any more!" Which surprised me - and made me wonder what VBers wear to bed... I like to sleep in cotton jammies - usually matching shorts and a tank top in the summer and either a 3/4 sleeve, knee-length "nightgown"(?) or leggings and a t-shirt in the winter. My hubster is in shorts and a tee year-round, but his don't match.

I also wear socks to bed in the winter, but they usually don't stay on all night.

So what do you wear to bed?

My birfday suit.

Who needs sleep when we've got love?
Who needs keys when we've got clubs?
Who needs please when we've got guns?
Who needs peace when we've gone above?

I tend to fall asleep in my clothes. Part of it is laziness, and part of it is jeans are sooo comfortable to me.

Did you write the book of love, and do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so? Do you believe in rock Ân roll,
Can music save your mortal soul, And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

I wear cotten pajama pants, fleece ones if it's really cold, and whatever shirt or cami I wore during the day. Unless it was something uncomfortable or fancy obviously, then i change into a cami. If it's really hot I occasionally wear shorts. I used to wear socks but they come off so I don't bother.

I usually wear nothing but Bra and undies since nightgowns get all twisted around me..LOL! I use to wear yoga pants and a t-shirt but sometimes I get too warm.

I do the cotton pyjama bottoms and a comfy T-shirt. I also wear socks if it's cold, sometimes throughout the night, sometimes just for a few minutes until I warm up.

I switch to pyjama shorts during the summer, but I also have one summer nightie (short and sleeveless). I don't really wear nighties - my mum does all the time, and I wonder how their suit her. They look like they would get really tangled during sleep.

during the winter: pj pants, usually comfy fleece ones or sweatpants, always a long sleeved shirt, and long comfy slipper socks but I usually take them off half way through the night
during the summer: tank top or sports bra and shorts

No matter how hot it gets during the summer though I can't sleep naked or just in my bra/underwear. I have always feared that there would be a fire in the middle of the night and I wouldn't have any clothes (this happened to a friend of mine a few years ago actually). There was one night several years ago when I had taken off my tank top in the middle of the night while I was half asleep and the next morning the maintenance man forced his way into my apt. So yeah ...I always wear some sort of clothing now.

Huh, that's weird. I love beautiful nightgowns. I usually take them off before I get in bed though.

I have this fear too!!

Winter: Flannel or heavy cotton jammies or sweats, socks, 3 blankets and a heated mattress cover that is turned to the highest level.

Summer: Knee length or mid thigh cotton bottoms and a matching tank or short sleeved top, socks, only one blanket and usually no heated mattress cover (sometimes I do turn it on).

I'm always freezing (just a wimpy Arizonan).

T-shirt and undies. No bra.

I can't abandon the person I used to be, so I carry her.

I do wear nightgowns because I'm just that old. But mainly in the summer. I also wear pj's of all types, matching and nonmatching, and sleep shorts with a tank top in the summer if all my nightgowns are in the laundry basket.

flannel pajamas, no top during summer, socks sometimes during winter. Sheet, blanket and comforter.

For the potential house fire, I always keep a pair of slippers or flip-flops by the bed. You'll need them if you have to run outside in a hurry.

Nothing unless it's really cold out, then I'll wear a t-shirt and boxers or thermals depending on how cold it'll be.

I believe everything.

Depending on how cold or hot it is in my room.

If it's warm, I just wear underwear and a tank top or t-shirt. If it's cold, I might add cotton pajama pants with a kitty pattern on them or a long-sleeved shirts.

No heated mattress cover here but my bed is right next to the heater. I also use 3 blankets in winter and one in summer (or at least a sheet if it's really hot).

Sweatpants and a t-shirt usually. I'm always cold but never wear socks to bed. My husband wears his boxer briefs.
