No. No one in their right mind would call what I do "dancing".

I never even heard of a Dougie before now...

Having said that, I'm a great dancer. I definitely got that particular gay-boy gene.

Ugh I suck at dancing! I used to dance back in college (read: grinding in the basement of a frat ) but now I avoid it at all costs.
My girl friends LOVE to dance whenever we go to bars. I just feel too self-conscious and awkward. My friends are crazy dancers and do all kinds of weird moves and could care less...I wish I was comfortable enough to do that!

This is the key. It doesn't matter whether you're any good, it's about feeling the music and the vibe and having a bit of fun. If you love moving to music, just get out there and do it - dance like no-one is watching as the saying goes!

This is what my people look like when we go out dancing. It's pretty much the order of the day to look like a stomping numpty and not really care.

The thing about ethnic folk dances, you're supposed to have it in your genes or something that you know how to dance these dances...even if you're instructed in the beginning, somehow magically you should be able to pick it up and do it perfectly, and that just ain't true. Being Jewish, I've danced the hora a number of times, and I just can't get it. I'm stumbling every which way, I follow everyone else's feet, and I still can't dance the hora!

How do you mess up the hora? You just grab hands to form a big circle and run around in a circle as a group. As my uncle put it, that's not dancing, it's Jewish aerobics.

I love dancing. I've had lessons in tap, ballet and jazz. Took a short course in salsa. Not often a chance for that kind of dancing though. I dance all the time at pubs and clubs and that needs no dance training. That is just moving and loving it.

It doesn't need dance training, but does call for attitude.

To me, these male porn stars attempting to dance is so fun and hilarious:

HAHAHAH! WOW.

Just goes to show it's easier to do porn than be a male dancer?

I can dance freestyle and I love me some oriental dance. But waltz, stuff like that? Naw. I'm taller than most guys, so I never found anyone to learn it with. I'm not into it too much, either.
