Some stunning photographs in this thread - I'm so envious, especially of your view, Vefo!
Here's my road, with a light covering of snow - look left

and now, look right:

Pretty boring, compared to most of the photos on here!

So these geese got here a few days ago. I don't know what they think they're doing, it's been about 30F all friggin' week. Silly Canadians.

They make a mess! And go after the feral cats if the cats 'try' anything with them!

But thank you.

Did you write the book of love, and do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so? Do you believe in rock Ân roll,
Can music save your mortal soul, And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

This isn't totally my view (I did for desktop thread), nor is it recent (autumn time) but neither is the Tablaqueen's, I suspect!

When they go to the right places in the paddock, I see these little ones:

Maybe I'll post my actual view when it's not getting dark outside.

I live in New Zealand, in a rural area (only about 5km from the nearest small town). As of the addition of those three within the past couple of weeks, we have 11 pet deer.

Here's a view out the windshield of the truck I drive. This is a truck stop in central Wisconsin, where I'm staying the night.

Ooh, one of my childhood friends' dad used to drive a truck (I think he is again now, actually). I always thought it was so cool and exotic!

It's true. Trucking is one of the great unsung glamour careers. Just check out that view! Bright lights. Glitter. Makes me glad I didn't go into fast food.

From when it snowed right before Thanksgiving in the US. Pretty boring view. I live behind a grocery store at an intersection in surburbia.

Vefo, I'm moving in too.

eta: and yes my neighbor's house is only half painted. He began painting it in the "summer" (if you can call it that since it was in the 60's for 98% of the summer months) but only got two sides done and hasn't finished the rest. I'm assuming he's waiting until next summer?

You'll enjoy this video then (apart from the first 5 seconds) - a song about trucking..
