It's always wise to give oneself a little negotiating room.

the country birds have been talking about this moon for a long time now. It's called the Wolf Moon.

a native american tribe also calls it the moon when coyotes are afraid, and it's supposed to bring out the trickster in both Aries and Sagittarius', so watch out, because the practical jokes are supposed to be bountiful

mlp 01-30-2010 12:56 AM

I just went out to look at it, but the sky is very hazy, so it's actually quite a bit less impressive here than the usual full moon, even though there's snow on the ground, which generally magnifies the effect of a full moon. Bummer.

Kenickie 01-30-2010 02:14 AM

now that it's stopped snowing and sleeting, the moon is ****ing gorgeous

mlp 01-30-2010 02:23 AM

I'm glad you're gettig the full benefit of it.

Oh, I was just saying, I had to close the curtains last night because the moon was glaring so brightly in my face while I was trying to sleep. It was nice to lie and see from my bed for a while though.

fadeaway1289 01-30-2010 05:35 AM

Totally missed it. Big, bright, shiny moons freak me out.

Treehugger267 01-30-2010 06:32 AM

So THAT's why I've been so miserable...bad moon, BAD!

Tom 01-30-2010 08:59 AM

I saw it rising through a window at work as I was leaving, and gazed at it off-and-on all night. (Sorry it messed with your heads, though, Treehugger and Fadeaway. Oh- cute avatars, both of you!!!)

karenlovessnow 01-30-2010 10:14 AM

I had a great view of it...most beautiful moon!!!

GhostUser 01-31-2010 05:22 PM

Awesome

major.walrus 02-02-2010 03:22 AM

The moon's been out in the early evening a lot lately too, so we've had an epic moon with the sunset and silhouetted winter tree branches.
