Salt Lake City, Utah (CNN) -- For Art and Jaynie Brown, the anti-alcohol crusade began with a late-night phone call a decade ago.

"From my daughter," Art Brown explained at his Salt Lake City home. "And she simply said, 'Dad, we've been in a very serious accident.' "

The Browns rushed to the hospital where their grandchildren were taken after the crash. One of the boys was seriously injured; the other was in more dire condition.

Vance said. "I don't understand why people think, 'If I don't do something, I've got to make it more difficult and aggravating for the person who does it.' "

Isn't that the truth though? Is it right?

Every day there are horrific car accidents involving stone-sober drivers that kill innocent little kids.

Wouldn't it be just as logical to outlaw cars?

No Kellye. In this society, that would be illogical.

It probably is. That can be said about many different beliefs/positions as well including ones on here.

And now I have an overwhelming urge to go hunt down a few seasons of Star Trek to rent, since I've never seen the series, just the movie (the new one and the one with the whales in it).

Thanks Mormons (and Julz)!!!!

I just watched it last night (the new one). Huge fan of the original series (If that doesn't make me look geeky...)

That is what I was thinking. I would do my darndest to make this a cruelty free community for animals. So that means, I would impose my beliefs on others.

Pretty much. But, i think everyone does that on some level. I think it's just the manner of communication that's important.
