1. The new duck pond is mostly dug.

2. Today was the break through day for Yac's and my relationship - he allowed me to pet him for a good 5 minutes, and then he flopped in front of me and showed me his belly.

3. I washed the floors.

4. Two of my Asiatic lilies that I planted this spring bloomed - simply gorgeous.

5. Sylvester used the litterbox - a first in a while. There's hope.

I made a breakfast smoothie in my new Vita-Mix (sorry, I can't stop talking about it; this is like the fourth thread I've mentioned it in).

We sold our giant computer desk for only $30 under the asking price! Some other guy had offered $125 under the asking price, so we were happy not to have to sell it to him!

I had a lovely afternoon nap.

We relaxed at the coffee shop with a soy latte and a good murder mystery.

We're going to stay in tonight and watch a movie.

1) I am making vegan whole-wheat pancakes for breakfast for myself and my mum who is on her way to visit

2) My mum, roommate and I are going to Portsmouth to see the tall ships in the harbour today

3) I don't have to work today, it's a paid holiday (my first one since New Year's Day)

4) My cat is finally seeming more settled in from the recent move and making visible progress adjusting to my roommate's cat

5) I am slowly starting to accept certain things in my life and make an active gameplan to fix/change them

So, things that made my day a good one: the first one is that I'm still alive, the second one is my friend has a birthday party tomorrow, The third one is that we bought tickets at https://au.lowcost.club/ ( so we are going to see the archipelago of Southern Norway. The islands close to the main land are sheltered from the ocean, which makes canoes a great way of getting around. As for me, it's a marvelous place as the whole Norway is) the fourth - this weekend will be the best in our lives, the fifth - because of four reasons written above I've been dancing all day

Sunshine in an actual clear blue sky, minus all the giant Xs being sprayed and spreading out to block the sun. Yay!

Weird warmth in the middle of winter giving us 70+ degree temps that draws me outside to play. (Cold hurts)

A peaceful and restful sleep that used to be very foreign to me when eating SAD foods and such. Poof! Be gone, insomnia, with a one way ticket outta here.

Early morning herbal and H20 hydration along with some purposeful movement that gets the digestive and other systems ready to take on the day, minus repeatedly crashing the adrenals with caffeine and other stimulants.

Another day of actively choosing not to purposely harm another living thing, including self, to simply satisfy hardcore highly programmed taste bud addictions. Gratitude, self, keep rockin' the plant-based life and reaping the rewards of wellness!

Warm temps prompting me to play in the dirt.

The reflective learning opportunities awaiting to be had in every moment.

Me and the hubby just realized this is the second year in a row, thus far, that I've not suffered from "allergy" symptoms as spring approaches, like I have all the rest of the years quite severely, nor have I battled with other frequent colds or respiratory issues requiring frequent doc visits as I have most of my adult life. Thanks, body and chosen fuel supplies.

The big fresh piles of locally grown greens in the fridge - curly kale, russian kale, sanposai, and spinach. Mmmmm........

The wild plantains, dandelions, and clover starting to grow. Yippee!!!!! Grow, babies, grow!!

Saw my first robin this Spring

Coffee and browsing through my favorite magazines at Barnes and Noble in the evening

Hiking in nearby woods and enjoying fresh air along with my partner and our dog Sable

coconut yogurt with bananas, flax, and strawberries to wake up to!

Had an awesome vegan friendly vegetable/rice dish from my local Whole Foods Coop deli for dinner. I am grateful they always include several vegan options at their hot deli bar.
