No. I think this thread is now genuinely dedicated to all football. After all, the Union season has just started here and I did post lovely, and appreciated, photos of a real Union man.

Love the post? Why not buy the T-shirt!

The only time I was a crazy Broncos fan was when Elway played...That was hard being in the same division as the Chiefs! But I still have love to go around. I hope they choke. :P

is that who they replaced jay cutler with?

in the terms of cutlers career it could be the most expensive thing they've ever done. i couldn't believe they traded him. its like, you could have had years of that kid, and that was the anchor of the team. in time jay cutler could prove to be worth more than 22milli.

I always knew the academic requirements for major sports athletes in college were pathetic, but I thought they at least had to be full time students. Apparently not, according to this article about Tim Tebow and his ONE credit course load this semester at Florida (which he's trying to find a way to reschedule so he can spend more time on football). How pathetic is that?

I'll be rooting for the University of Michigan and the Detroit Lions. They can't do much worse than last season...

Could be interesting, but I'm expecting Bama to win pretty easily. Of course, I'm an ACC guy, so I'll be cheering for VT, but I don't expect an upset. I just hope they do better than Clemson did in the season opener against Bama last year.

As an FSU alum, I'm looking forward to Miami at Florida State on Monday night.

My other alma mater (Georgia Tech) is playing Jacksonville State this Saturday, so that probably won't be televised, nor would it really be worth watching even if it was.

Anyway, I'm glad the college season starts tonight. I know they keep saying that Oregon vs Boise St is the big game tonight, but I'm more excited about South Carolina vs NC State tonight. Any chance to watch Spurrier lose is a good thing.

Well, Georgia Tech won today, so I'm happy, even though they were playing an easy opponent. Now I just need FSU to beat Miami Monday night to keep both of my schools undefeated so far.

In the mean time, I'll definitely be watching the Bama vs VT game.
