After spending a week on my couch...I can tell you, this year's flu is no joke. I'm still not 100% but I can't miss anymore work, so I'm hopeful that the weekend allows for more recovery time.
Anybody else suffer through it this year yet? What did you do to take care of yourself? How did you entertain yourself after hours of mindless daytime talkshows or I Dream of Jeanie re-runs? What's your favorite home remedy? What's your favorite "sick bed" meal?
I had a really bad case of the flu in July, so I'm hoping that will fill my "nasty sickness quota" for awhile....
I take alot of zinc when I get sick, and drink ginger tea. My favorite "sick bed" meal is miso soup with carrots, broccoli, and lots of garlic. Make sure you wash your hands alot, so you don't spread all of the germs around. It wouldn't be fun if you reinfected yourself with the flu! (I have done this.Not fun at all.) I hope you feel better soon, dawngirl!
