everything I'm eating today was actually made from scratch by me. the rest of you are probably like, "so what? I do that every day" but this is unusual for me. it's a nice feeling.

all vegan of course...

Um, Pirate, not enough! I added it up in my head and was unimpressed by the number I came up with; I have to eat a lot more than that to gain, honestly. Are you trying to stay the same, or do you still need to gain? I can't mention numbers here but try taking the number yours adds up to and add a third of that again, and that should make you maintain. Or at least, that's what my body needs to maintain! I'm still *a few* pounds under what my goal is; how about you? You're doing well, but if you want to maintain or gain still, you need more calories and less of the celery stick, missy!

Pirate sweetie, thought I should qualify that I was giving the only answer I can; I only know how MY body works and yours will be different. Mine just seems to need ASTRONOMICAL amounts of food in order to gain! If the number you are having works for you, then that's perfect! Don't change a thing

What you're eating seems to me, to be really healthy and yummy and I AM impressed that you're looking after yourself well and taking responsibility for your body- well done

Enjoy!

Today:

L: Sandwich (ww bread, hummus, salad) and raw carrot sticks.

S: A few sunflower and pumpkin seeds, slice of ww bread with strawberry jam.

D: I'm so hungry! 3 hours to go til dinner though.... I'm planning on having wholegrain rice with some frozen veg, cannelini beans and soy sauce mixed in. Maybe some herbs if I have any.

I spent my weeks budget in 2 days on restaurant lunch/takeaway/alcohol (because I'm irresponsible), thus the above menu is pretty much going to be what I'll have til Friday. Also have a couple of tins of soup, some wholegrain pasta, and if I have the rice/pasta for dinners I can swap the beans for lentils or quinoa. There is also an avocado in my fridge.... luxury!

I haven't posted in FOREVER!!!!

I'm really, really sick. I don't have much of an appetite, but I'm trying to make myself have a couple things that are good for me. It's like I'm craving food but can't really eat that much of it.

today so far:

brunch: 2 vegetarian sausages, about a cup of steamed spinach, and a small amount of breakfast potatoes with ketchup. A slice each of honeydew and canteloupe and then some pineapple. Lots of green tea.

snack: cup of vegan spicy pumpkin soup and a handful of wasabi peas

dinner will be some roasted acorn squash, steamed kale, and I'll probably have either soy yogurt with fruit or some cottage cheese with something.
