Today so far:



Black vanilla coffee w/ soy

Whole wheat bagel

2 slices of live sprouted grain bread topped with mashed spicy chick peas and tomato slices

Strawberry-almond protein drink (post-gym)

Veggie burger on bun with lettuce + tomato, home fries, coffee, diet coke



Some random late late night snacks: hemp waffle, rice w/ soy sauce (not a lot)

B: Cereal with raisins, flax and ricemilk.

S: Fruit smoothie and a little mix of seeds and nuts.

L: Veggie fajitas (peppers, mushrooms, baby corn and onion).

D: I might stir fry peppers and broccoli with garlic and have some rice, depending on how hungry I get later.

L: ww bagel, vegemite, pickled beetroot, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, celery. Cereal bar

S: cereal bar

D: lighter choices beans, a cranberry ww bagel, spinach, celery, mushroom, spring onion

S: frozen fruit, apple banana puree, soygurt



Today

B: wheat biscuits, rice milk, agave, grapes, apple pear juice

L: bagel, vegemite, beetroot, salad, cereal bar

S: cereal bar

D: 'fish' fingers, new potatoes, peas, soybeans and ketchup

S: frozen fruit, mince pie filling, apple-banana puree and soygurt all mixed into my usual gloopy disgusting mess.

S: Half an avocado

D: Veggie-"beef" soup with salad; a slice of cinnamon bread for dessert

S: Maybe a beer in a bit. It feels like a beer-type day.

Wildwood yogurt

1 C split pea soup

2 slice bread w/EB

handful gummies

4 oz tempeh w/ hot sauce & (large) dollop sour creme/aioli sauce

1 C steamed broccoli w/garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, tamari

1 potato, hash brown style w/ onions ans seasonings

1/2 C chocolate pudding made w/ low fat rice milk

probably another slice of bread w/EB

3 whiskeys and diet

2 C green tea

6 or 7 glasses water

I didn't eat much today due to a very busy schedule, but I figured I would post because it's my first day as a sucessful vegan



-vegan boca burger

-baby carrots with bean dip

-side salad, celery, light ving dressing at Zaxby's (only vegan option!)

-black bean burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions

-edamame

Yesterday:

L: Lentil soup with 1/4 size baguette.

D: Tofu and vegetable stir fry with rice.



And.... it was dinner for two!!! My wonderful boyfriend (who is amazing no matter what he eats) decided to try veganism for a while and see how it goes....!

Ate a lot yesterday, I'm on vacation in England!!! Maybe I'm the only person in the world who LOVES the food here, but I think it's so amazing! I was getting sick of my limited options in France!



b: a lemonzest luna bar, half a glass of grapefruit juice (ran out ) and a banana

l: shared a small 2-person pizza with my boyfriend. It had red sauce, mozzarella, butternut squash, spinach, and caramelized onions. SOOOO GOOD

s: popcorn with salt, lemon juice, and rosemary

d: My boyfriend cooked for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He planned out this huge special dinner!!!!!! First we had some spring onion crackers with boursin and this tomato/onion/chilli chutney that I threw together (his idea though). Then we had small servings of rosemary mashed potatoes and stuffing with onion gravy (he knew I had been craving stuffing, and he checked to make sure everything was completely vegetarian ), then from the rest of the potatoes he made stilton mashed potato cakes, and we had big piles of steamed asparagus with lemon and some red pepper pesto.

other snacks: a plum, a couple crackers, 2 cups tea with soymilk, hard cider, half a glass of ginger beer

B: A cranberry muffin, An iced espresso. (6 shots).

L: Herb crusted tofu, A few crackers with hummus, A small side salad.

S: A grape sorbet, A mocha espresso. (2 shots).

D: A BLT with a few potato chips.

S: A lara bar.

Heres my plan for today:



B: Oatmeal w/ almond milk and honey. OJ

S: Strawberry smoothie, w/ orange juice

L: Tomato soup and wheat thins, and some fruit of some sort. Water

S: Going to the movies, so I'll prob bring some trail mix so i don't eat the buttery popcorn. Imma try not to fall into temptation!

D: Wheat pasta, w/ olive oil and spices, and some broccoli. Baked potato w/ butter, and soy bac'n bits. Water

S: Fruit, and pretzels. Water.



Hopefully I'll stick to my plan...haha



EDIT: I just looked outside...theres a blizzard, so I'm not going to the movies. Afternoon snack will be changed to just trail mix, and maybe an apple with PB. Yay!!

Second day vegan!



B: boca burger and coffee

S- steamed red potato

L- huge salad with edamame, carrots, lettuce, spinach, zucchini, boca burger, cucumbers, and a low fat balsamic ving.

S- edamame, 5 almonds

D- light flat out wrap with fat free refried beans, salsa, vegan cheese (it didn't melt!), avocado, sauteed spinach. and some baked eggplant on the side

S- smoothie made of .5 cup light silk, crushed ice, medium banana, cocoa powder, splenda, and sf peanut butter syrup

B: 2 waffles with fresh cut up stawberries and a cup of strawberry yogurt poured over them

S: a handful of almonds

L: greenleaf salad with strawberries, bocconcini cheese, sesame seeds and mandarin dressing (you can check out the salad photo/recipe) with 2 loaves of olive bread spread on with hummus, a few olives and chickpeas

S: a Breyer's Real Fruit Popsicle

D: a homemade pizza on whole wheat greek pita bread with mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, olives and yellow peppers

Eh, I haven't been up on the food-posting, so, I will just post yesterdays yummies.



Breakfast



3/4 cup of dry oats (cooked)

2 tbsn of natural peanut butter

Medium Apple



coffee



Lunch



2 slices of Cracked wheat bread

1 serving of smoked Tofurkey

1 tbsn of vegenaise

1 serving of sunchips

1 medium tangerine



Snack



1 banana soy yogurt

1 serving mini pretzels



Dinner



1/3 cup dry brown rice (cooked)

1/4 cup dry lentils (cooked)

1/4 cup silk plain soymilk (For sauce)

Spices

1 roma tomato

Brussel sprouts

A big bowl of salad with fat-free dressing

1 tbsn of olive oil (in sauce)



Snack



Air-popped black popcorn

- Rolled oats

- Natural soya yoghurt

^ all whizzed up in the blender



Lunch:

- Celery

- Sultanas

- Cashew nuts

- Egg-free mayonnaise

^ mixed together and served in a wholemeal pitta bread



Dinner:

- Spinach leaves

- Avacado

- Kidney beans

- Sundried tomatoes

- Garlic

^ all whizzed up in the blender and then warmed in the microwave



Snacks / Desserts:

- Raspberries

- Fruit smoothies (frozen banana and strawberry with apple juice)

- Dried figs

I went a chinese restaurant for dinner and I had spring rolls and lo mein noodles with veggies and tofu.



Then I went to Denny's restaurant for dinner #2 and I had a Boca Burger with Fries, and hot fudge brownie for desert. and diet coke at both places.

S: An apple pie lara bar, Coffee with soy milk.

L: A fruit smoothie, (Peachs, Banana, Soy milk and a splash of orange juice).

D: A whole wheat wrap, (Soy sausage, Sauteed mushrooms and bellpepper, Broccolli, Salsa, Hummus and avacado). A sweet potato with cinnamon, Soy butter and xylitol.

S: A whole grain and strawberry bar, An apple and an iced esspresso with soy milk (6 shots).
