Okay, so today was kind of like what I eat every day, and I went to fitday.com and this is what it told me:

..................grams.......cals\t........%total

Total:.......................1699 \t

Fat:............. 40...........362..........22%

Sat:..............7..............60 ..........4%

Poly:...........10............963........... 6%

Mono:.........18 ............159..........10%

Carbs:.......285 .............968......... 63%

Fiber:.........43.............0 .............0%

Protein:.......53 ...........211..........14%

I'm meeting all my requirements for vitamins (and I don't take vitamins except for calcium a few times a week) except for vitamin k.

I run for 30-45 minutes a day, and I ride horses.

I'm 5'6 and 107 or 108 pounds.

Does this look alright to you?

you def need more cals/ day.

did you plug in your activities as well into fitday? it will show you how many cals you need for basal and for extra exercise.

for 5'6...you should weigh roughly 130lbs. 5' =100lbs plus 5lbs for each 1"

I don't know much about calories but I'm certain that at your height, you should weigh more. I weigh as much as you do, and I'm 5'3" and aiming to gain more weight.

Does age make a difference on what I should weigh?

I'm not sure if this is very reliable, but according to my BMI for my age, I'm fine.

according to this you are definitely underweight.

eat more.

also, a lot of calcium supplements contain vitamin K so you could try to find one of those.

i agree, you are growing...so you need more.

now is not the time to be constricting cals...you need to make sure that you are getting proper nutrition...vits/ minerals for growth and brain function. this is the time that really counts that will affect your future health.

You do need more. Some people are naturally slim. (I'm lanky. Can't help it.) But if I went under 2000? Dead BR.

ETA: 2000 calories, not lbs.

I'm not keeping track of my calories, by the way, nor am I restricting myself.

I have a small body frame, so honestly, I am not too concerned about weight.

I guess when I asked this question, I was mainly asking about carbs, fat, and protein. Am I eating too much fat or carbs?

no, obviously you are not eating too much (of anything) if we are all saying you aren't eating enough.

and sometimes you should keep track of your calories if you aren't getting enough.

I'm 5'3 and i only eat about 1300 calories a day, and I'm perfectly healthy (according to my doctors), so I think that if your not restricting your diet, and you feel full/satisfied, and your healthy, you should be fine.
