Yes, it is called Coors light. Fresh from the rocky, organic mountains. What more can you ask for.

Misscaylin doesn't look old enough to be drinking Light beer by Coors.

I recommend shutting off your computer, tv, radios and lights. Those are what keep me awake, including right now... I gotta be up for work in 3 hours.

I have trouble sleeping... i'm usually worried about something, or excited about something! I just try to relax... and drift into my own little world. Before i go to bed i make up imaginary things in my head... like what i'd do if i won the lottery etc.... sounds silly hehe.

things that help me:

* no heavy/fatty foods in the evening

* no refined carbs before bed

* nothing caffeinated at least 2 hours before bed

* soft music at least an hour before bed (classical music is the best for this)

* no hard stimuli (iow: don't be watching things like horror movies before bedtime)

* all lights off in the bedroom (I even turn my clock alarm around so the LED light doesn't bother me)

* r-e-l-a-x! (meaning: relax the breathing, relax the mind, relax the body)

* regularly scheduled bedtime

there's more, but I can't remember them right now.

I also have trouble sleeping. I am a huge worry wart and get worked up very easily. The thing that helps me is watching TV, I usually wake up and don't even remember falling asleep. Also, a small drink before bed helps too, but I don't know if I recommend that.

i do this too. i find if i think about real events i end up laying awake all night pondering my life etc. if i think about something totally B.S. i fall asleep in no time.

lately i have a lot less trouble falling asleep than i used to, not sure why but whatever lol. but when my mind does start wandering off into subjects like work, bills, etc, i just flip it around to "wait i just got a fat inheritance so the bills are no problem and i'm quitting that job and doing.... " or something like that. a few minutes of day dreaming versus hours of panicking lol

eta: oh and coors is not vegan

I'm singin' here to get rid of fear
Hope it disappears right here with the rain
But I know life is pain, not like a fairytale
Meaningless to pray, so just goin' on my way

Tylenol PM works well for me but I'm not sure that is a good solution if your insomnia is a longer-term problem. I have gotten good at meditating as I go to bed. Melatonin (spelling??) is supposed to be good too and is technically natural.

I can show you a drug free, veggie method to get rid of insomnia. Light therapy has been proven in scientific studies to be effective in treating insomnia. If anyone is interested in this safe, natural method send me a PM and I will tell you how to acquire the article/instructions on the internet.
