I'm nearly 41 and I have no grey hairs at all. I think I'm also the rarity in my family as both my younger sisters have varying degrees of grey (one is sorta S&P and the other is full out grey). IIRC, mum was also pretty young when she started to go grey but she dyed for years so none of us really know.

I'm 21, and I've started to get weird white hairs. Does that count?

I'll speak for my parents since I'm 14 =D My mum is 41 and shes got 3-4 grey hairs, but she has had coloured hair since she was 16..Nobody knows her natural color.

And my dad is bald and he is 42. He's got a pretty grey beard though. My brother is 17 and no grey hairs (I asked them about this)

Also, is it true that some dogs go grey around the muzzle when they get old? I've noticed it, particulary on black dogs..

Anyway, this thread isn't about occasional grey hair so I don't have anything to contribute really.

Im 24..no gray hair. My mom has gray hair, she is 56. My dad is 54 I think and he doesnt have any gray hair yet, if he does its very little. My grandma died in her 60's and she didnt have any gray hair at all. Im hoping I get my hair from that side of the family (I do have my dads hair) but I wouldnt mind if I get some grays because I have really dark hair which means I have to bleach it to be able to have it any lighter color..if it was gray I could dye it lighter colors.

I'm coming up for 28 and don't have any yet. Hubby (now 30) started getting them at about 21 - around the time he met me...

I'm hoping I take after my mum - 44 and she gets a grey hair once in a blue moon

I don't know my dad, but knowing my luck he's probably as grey as they come.

I'm 46 and have just started to get some gray. But since I'm dirty blonde, they don't show up very much. I've also been highlighting my hair periodically- to give it some pizazz, and that helps to blend in what gray there is.

I'm 24 and I found my first gray hair last month (back when I was still 23 actually). I don't mind gray as much as I mind wrinkles though. At least you can dye your hair!

That's possibly the best quote ever... very true, lol

I noticed my first 'grey' around 16.... I usually get blonde hi-lytes in the summer (naturally), and I noticed that a few hairs were very faintly blonde..... and eventually they started coming in quicker.

I've been dying my hair for the past 2 1/2 years.... and mine grows so freaking quick, I'm lucky if I can go a month between colorings. Usually when it's time to color it's time to cut it too
