Im 5'8'' and I weigh about 110 pounds.

Sounds small, but Im not really underweight at all, just fit and very petite. All the women on my moms side have tiny bone structure.

That sounds reasonable to me. Aren't you 6'+? My favorite jeans are 27W33L. Not too long, and not too short. I can wear them with heals or flip-flops. I love it Oh ... and I'm only 5'7".

Yeah, I'm 6+... It's just that it is TERRIBLE trying to find that size. There are some juniors jeans sold on alloy.com that have a 37" inseam, but that's the longest I've found that are hemmed... I usually take the hems out of my jeams and let them look all raggedy, but as far as work/business attire, it's really difficult finding anything (in a store... I can order online, but it's always more expensive) that works. And I'm interning as a counselor in a high school right now, so I HAVE to wear pants, no skirts (cos the little boys will look, lol).

What a cool, voyeuristic kind of thread for the endlessly person-curious (like me)!!! I'm a gal, 5'9" in bare feet, and about 125 lbs (depending on what time of the month - oi). I'm usually a size 6/sm, though MMV depending on the manufacturer.

5'8.5", about 124 lbs, european size 36/38, which is roughly a 30" waist jeans or a UK size 8/10. People often look a bit incredulous when I tell them my clothes size - I must look daintier than I am and people do often underestimate my height.

I'd love to drop 10 pounds because I'd have to drag less weight up while climbing.

5'3" 112 lbs size 2-4 in jeans and sm-med shirts A lot of people tell me I'm waaaaay to skinny. Drives me crazy. Why do people think it's ok to comment rudely about a person's weight when they are skinny but not when they are fat? I don't get it. If I had an eating disorder I *might* understand where they were coming from. But come on!

off topic, the sizing in america really confuses me, the smallest size here is eight or six if you can find it. Size 2-4 sounds crazy to me.

I get thinly veiled comments like "Here, you can have a big piece of cake" etc. - not necessarily malicious, but it gets old quickly, especially coming from people who see me eat lunch every day. I don't have a problem with eating said big piece of cake (unless there's milk in it), since I'm not a calorie-phobe. I just stop eating when I'm not hungry any more.

5'8" 150 lbs

I was up to around 158 a couple of months ago, and my waist size expanded to 32 inches, after I was just getting used to the idea of having to upgrade my pants from 30 to 31. I was downright scrawny until around 30 years old, and I've been gaining steadily ever since.

So I decided my ideal weight for my height and build is probably around 145, and I'm pretty proud that I managed to actually lose weight for the first time in my life. Usually, when I try eating healthier, it only lasts a couple of months, and it results in not gaining any weight, but I never lose any. That's always been ok in the past, since I've never been overweight. But according to my BMI, I was bordering on overweight at 158. But because of my build, people thought I was joking when I said I was trying to lose weight. I just look thin, even though I know that the stomach is expanding with age.
