herpes virus that almost everyone has

unfortunately this is a medical fact.
but fortunately not all suffer from it.
I was not lucky with constant suppressive therapy.
but great that therapy exists these days.
are there like me?
what drug do you use?

Valacyclovir/Valtrex - 3000mg per day for 7 days. I only take it when I have an outbreak, which so far has only been twice in 6 months.

Thank you for sharing this. I wasn't aware of how prevalent the virus was.

The United Nations World Health Organization states that, globally, about two-thirds of the population under 50 are infected with herpes simplex virus type 1: http://www.who.int/en/news-room/deta...x-virus-type-1
.

Not scientific, but a simple tea, brewed from Lemon Balm Leaf, "Melissa Officinalis" (not the same as Lemon Grass,) can be very useful in managing the Herpes virus, at least type 1. If you get one of the 'cold sores,' laving it with this tea provides instant relief and helps it to cure quickly.

I had chicken pox when I was young, so carry the type 1 virus. It takes up residence in your lower spine. In my case, it causes muscular tension in my lower back, which becomes painful and interferes with regularity. Drinking just a cup of Lemon Balm tea each week helps keep me on a more normal basis.

But don't tell the pharmaceutical industry I said so.

I have had HSV-1 on my lips for quite a while now. I haven't taken any antivirals for it but I also haven't had an outbreak in a really long time.

i have HSV 1,2,3 for many years now.
suppressive therapy with Acyclovir ceased to help after 6 months.
began recently Valacyclovir 1000mg/day.
there was relief.
it seems I'm happy again =)
