Clogged Ears

For the last two years or more my left ear has been clogged and makes this annoying squish squish sound when I do anything active such a jogging or jumping. I think my eustcahian tube is clogged. I have tried the netti pot but it actually made it much worse and my ear was so sore I was almost in tears.

I am pretty sure that my post nasal drip is at play but I would give anything for this sensation to go away. I have also noticed that I become off balance very eaisly as well.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions?

The off-balance is a sign that your inner ear might be affected. You should see a doc.

Two years? Ugh, I'd be concerned about an infection. I overproduce wax in my ears and have to have them syringed by the nurse occasionally. It's a bit of an odd feeling, but so much better afterwards when you can hear properly and there's no pressure, pain or other discomfort from congestion. Get it looked at*

* I say this cavalierly as someone from the UK who is blessed with not having to find the spare money to pay for such services and gets them free as frequently as they are needed.
