I did about 50 minutes of weights, crunches, squats and stretching this morning. It looks like a beautiful day outside so I'll get some gardening in as well!

Have a good week, hamsters!

I ran for about 45 minutes yesterday. My legs are so sore today. Want to get in about 30 minutes today, and do some aerobics, clean the house (hey it counts!), and do some yoga.

Go hamsters!

I love the way your elliptical names its programs. "Kilimanjaro" and "Around the World" are way more fun than my "Cardio 1," "Cardio 2," etc.!

it makes it more interesting to me, there are two types at the gym I go to. One does the cardio 1, 2 so forth type of programs, then the one I love does all the intervals, round the world, etc

I'm not around on weekend so I will summarize:

Friday: 3 mile run. 20 minutes upper body weights.

Saturday: 45 minutes yoga. Major house cleaning and yard mowing.

Sunday: 2 mile run. 3 mile walk.

So far today: 2 mile run. Going to the gym later too.

ETA: I did go to the gym...add to my total 4 miles elliptical and 20 minutes upper body weights.

We are leaving Wednesday morning for vacation so I won't be around for a while. Keep on hamstering everyone!!!

Hey everyone!

Saturday was my graduation party, so I spent the whole day cleaning and setting up and running errands. On Friday I did probably 3 hours of yardwork, mowing and getting the weeds pulled and stuff. Sunday I didn't do anything.

Its very difficult for me to get any proper hamstering in, because I watch my sister all day when I don't have swimming lessons and work all night. I could get up EARLY and go to the gym, but it never really happens, lol. I am switching from nights to days the week after next, but that doesn't really help me now, and its always raining...Its not real motivating. So Im trying, but the hamstering will probably be a little sparse for awhile.

lovenlight,

Linz

Must remember to post my hamsterful exploits...

Yesterday and today, I went to a big field at a nearby park and played some me-on-me soccer. My legs are nice and sore now.

Yesterday: walked 40 minutes to my "extra" garden plot; did chores there for about 45 minutes... sweet corn and bush (short) beans are goin' strong! Acorn squash, okra, and leeks are just up and on their way!!!!

Walked 40 more minutes back home. (I walk about 4 miles per hour)

Today I might walk home. or take the bus. But I'll to a weight (cybex machine) workout.

I almost forgot to say: GO HAMSTERS!

Peasant (1963-1972) and Fluffy (1970s?-1982- I think of you as 'Ambrose' now)- Your spirits outshone some humans I have known. Be happy forever.

I went biking yesterday and attempted to start a running program, but I brought too much stuff with me (Water bottle attached to this thing that goes around your waist, but it was too bouncy, CD Player), so I'll try that again tomorrow, minus the luggage.

I did a 35 minute run/walk this morning, moving into week 4 of the couch to 5k running program. I didn't think I'd be able to do it, but I did, even finishing the run while going up a hill

I also potentially saved a deer. I was jogging around a corner on the road and there was this beautiful young deer just standing in the sunlight in the middle of the road. I could hear a car from behind me quite a ways back and knew that they wouldn't be able to see the deer in time as they rounded the corner. So I RAN - hoping that I'd be the one to get to him and scare him off first, so he'd have time to get out of the road. It worked, thank goodness.

A little less than 4 miles running today and weights. Probably will take the dogs for a walk, too...haven't done that in a while.
