I've got two health problems. The first one is my multivitamins, it makes me have all he proteins a day ... but when I take it I lose more my hair so I'd like to know if it was right that too much vitamin A could cause this (there's 3000 UI inside the vitamins :/)

The second one is when I eat pasta, somen pasta usually, I suffer from headaches but I don't know where they come from ...

Please, help me :')

If you keep getting headaches when you eat the pasta - the answer is....(drumroll) don't eat the pasta. You could have an allergy test administered at the physician as well if you wanted to be positive.

I honestly don't know about Vit. A and hair loss - what makes you convinced that the vitamins are what is causing the problem? Recalling my nutrition classes, the most common nutritional issues with hair loss are last of "good fats" and/or B vitamins.

There is a great book called "Prescription for nutritional healing" I bought in the healthfood store, but you can find it at ebay or amazon at a cheaper price which is a must have for any serious vegetarian or health conscious person. I was just reading the other day about headaches and some of the things they said you may want to try and avoid are carbohydrates, alcohol, dairy products, hard cheeses & tomatoes. Foods that contain the amino acid tyramine.

3000 ius of vitamin A is not too much and should not cause hair loss. Toxic amounts of vitamin A is closer to 100,000 IUS, but there is no need to take more than 10,000 really. Like "iamjen" said, low amounts of b vitamis can contribute to hair loss along with other things.

I have a question for you? Are you female and if so are you close to or going through menapause?
