Sounds great...Looking forward to seeing it! I will visit the site as soon as I have a chance. I'm looking to hopefully make documentaries some day, so I will definitely look out for it.

tell us more about the film? the website makes it sound more like a religious film than anything about animal rights.

technical comment/advice.

[I have trouble navigating the website due to the "travelling cursor" javascript and the plethora of animated gifs. you might want to remove them from your website to help make things easier to view]

The fonts make it really hard to read, too. I quit the page fairly quickly.

Here's a copy of the summary that was sent to me after visiting the yahoo group:

Quote:
The Teddy Bear Syndrome a dramatization based on actual events. For as God watches we live, some according to his will and some not. There are two distinct paths in life good vs. evil. But what exactly is good & what exactly is evil? Four friends journey down lifes paths to find out whether God or society has the right to decide the good or the evil. E.B. is a young vibrant Chinese American female who desperately tries to please her strict parents along the way of trying to find herself. Her parents continue their quest to uphold strict Chinese traditions as E.B. continues to fall faster faster finding herself up against God, Satan, life and possibly death. Levi, a Navy

Veteran returns home after serving his country to find the war at home is harder than anything hes ever encountered, but exactly what & who is he fighting for?

Jordan is a mom who is on a life long search for true faith as she tries to protect her only child from what she believes is injustice. But sometimes what we teach our children can be as deadly as not teaching them. Simon, an angel sent by God shows Jordan a clear path. Jordan must decide if Simons answers are good or evil as the paths become intertwined and the lives of the four friends are jeopardized as one falls victim to societys views and the other three bond together to carry out a friends promise. The friends may listen, but when do they learn maybe never or only when the journey begins with you.

I would like to see it, too. But the description wasn't that appealling to me, as summed up by this sentence: "Life gives us two distinct paths, good and evil."

I do have to agree that this sounds very Christian based. Was not too interesting to me, but I'll keep an eye out for more info.

I kinda got the impression, from the website, that the animal right's activist was being portrayed in a negative light... that he was following his own path ("What is he fighting for?!") instead of God's path. I would need to hear more before viewing this film. I'm interested in hearing how the lesbian is portrayed also. Thanks.

Their website is VERY confusing, and I can't tell WHAT exactly they are supporting or not supporting. Especially with quotes like these on the site:

"Are we no better today than we were in ancient times past? Death, destruction, mayhem, murder, fornication and alike abound in the very book some call the truth. Have we not yet learned? When will we learn, maybe never or only when the journey begins with you!"

Our website {www.smile-its-kacee.com} was designed specifically for people that wish to learn about the film. All the icons and images on the three pages represent the film in some way or another. Good vs. Evil - some people think that killing animals for labatory experiments is good, while some think its inhumane and evil. Everyone these days has there own prespective on good vs. evil. While researching this story, a lot of activists mention God in their search. And how does God feel about animals rights and the endless slaughter of his animals by his own creation - people. No one really knows what happens in the mind of a killer - whether it be an animal killer or a human killer. Do we therefore seek out the answers for ourselves, without any regard to our creator or do we question our very existence along with his and the animals. Were the animals only created for man, was man created for the animals or were we both created for each other? There are five distinct characters in 'The Teddy Bear Syndrome'. They all represent us in some way shape or form. From animals rights activists, to hunters, to closeted lesbians, to lost pastors, to angels. If we as a society continue to move forward rather than backward, we must take into consideration all points of view, otherwise we will faulter and never move on. The key words 'take into consideration, not alter our opinions but consider others'. The film, 'The Teddy Bear Syndrome' all boils down to what are we as a people whether for animals rights, gay rights, human rights, God's rights etc willing to do for what we believe in. Are we willing to die or yet, willing to kill to save an animal or each other. The website {www.smile-its-kacee.com} while some of you found it confusing, others like peta and the other animals rights organizations and all the other companies found it unique and non-traditional just like 'The Teddy Bear Syndrome'. I invite you to explore taking the time out to enjoy our site again, remembering frederick douglass' quote 'without struggle there is no progress'. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. This film will rock the world.

No thanks. I'll go blind if I go back to that page, but good luck with rocking the world. (Sounds like that band, Stryper, "Rocking the world for you, Holy Oooooone...")
