Yet another dissapointing year at the Clark County Fair... More animals sold to be butchered, more animals stuffed in small cages in hot weather for 4 days straight, more "petting zoos" and camel and pony rides. There was even a stand telling about all the things cows are in... and even gave stickers promoting it! "Eat beef, the west wasnt won on salad" and the old stand back "Beef, its whats for dinner" and of course the food court. People binging on turkey legs, Jumbo burgers, meat feast pizza and so much more, its depressing to know how blind these people are.... arg im so frusterated with my community. It is nice to know that there are a few others here, few i know personally. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can promote animal rights to my town? this is like a major Rodeo, Cowboy up town, i sometimes feel like nothing will help. PLease, does anyone have any ideas?

No ideas, but lots of sympathy. They just replaced the circus billboards with "spanish rodeo" crap.

Sorry. Can't help ya. If you're really not into the animal cruelty, then simply don't go to the fair. It's small but at least it's a form of activism
