DarkwingDuckie chose LilBigBug as the next interviewee!
The week for LilBigBug is from February 14th to February 21st.

Interview Guidelines:
  • Please only ask a few questions at a time, so others get a chance to ask some, and so the current interviewee does not get overwhelmed.
  • In order to become next weeks victim, you must participate in the threads. The current weeks interviewee will then select someone who contributed to their thread to be the star for next week.
  • Please keep VB rules in mind when you post. Keep it PG-13 or above, classy, and fun. No spamming, trolling, or anything you know you should not be doing.
  • If the current interviewee would like to pass on answering a question for whatever reason, that is A-OK. We want these to be fun to participate in, not uncomfortable or upsetting.
  • If you are chosen for the next week and you would rather not be interviewed for any reason, you can decline.
Have fun you guys!

Female

-Relationship status?

Engaged! <3

-Location (as specific as you are comfortable being)?

Oregon, USA

-Religious beliefs (or lack thereof)?

Technically I'm LDS, but not active. I got upset at a couple of members, and have no desire to see them so I stopped going to church. Questioning faith right now.

-Political leanings?

Politicians are only on this earth for Saturday Night Live to make fun of.

-Are you a vegetarian or vegan (or something else)?

Vegetarian.

-What is the meaning behind your username?

My fiancé calls me Bug, and he named my computer LilBigBug. I thought it was cute, so I took it.

-Have you ever met anyone famous?

Jeff Gianola (newscaster from Portland), we had dinner at his house with his wife and three out of his four kids (his wife was also expecting then).

Kirby Heyborne-LDS actor/singer.

Jo Dereske-Author
Chelsea Cain-Author
Amy Foster-Author
Terry Brooks-Author

Ahh, the perks of working at a library.

-Do you live with any companion animals?

No, my landlady doesn't allow me to have pets.

-Do you live with any companion humans?

Not yet. My fiancé and I are looking for a place, and his brother might come with us.

-Where is your favorite place that you have visited?

Either Philippine Islands or Seattle, Washington.

-What do you enjoy most about being veg*n?

I like that I'm not hurting animals. Plus, I can eat a ton of food and not feel guilty about it.

-With whom would you most love to have dinner?

Dead or alive?

Dead: Charlotte Bronte
Alive: Julie Andrews

-Do you have any secret talents?

If I do, they're so secret I don't know they exist.

-What dish/recipe can you make that knocks people's socks off?

Chocolate chip cookies. I even have a note from a colleague saying "Jamie, you are Mrs. Fields and Famous Amos rolled into one!"

-What's your favorite restaurant?

Locally: Tora Sushi-they have an amazing selection of vegetarian sushi, and the price is right.

Not locally: Cheesecake Factory. Their food is good, the portions are huge, and I usually take some home.

-What do you do to cheer yourself up when you're feeling blue?

Read, or watch a musical. Lately, it's the Glee episode where Kurt is doing the Single Ladies dance.

-What's your biggest cooking/baking disaster?

Hmm.. Probably me not adding the right amount of oil to the brownies I was baking and they didn't turn out (I think I didn't add enough, but I honestly can't remember).

-What's the one food/product, that you'd love to "veg*nize"?

Seafood. I actually do kind of miss seafood.

What language would you like to learn (if any)?

Do you like to read?

If you were asked to play someone in a biographical movie, who would you play?

If someone was to play you in a biographical movie based on your life, who would play you?

I'm going to number your questions, to make it easier for me to reply (I don't get the whole quote thing).

1-I love languages, and at the moment I want to relearn sign language (I know some of it, but I've been out of practice). Otherwise it would either be French or Italian. Also Latin, even though it's a dying language.

2-I love to read, it's one of my favorite hobbies. It also helps that I work in a library, and want to get my Masters of Library Science.

3-I'm not sure who I would play... I love Julie Andrews, but I don't think I could pull off her essence.

4-Again, I have no clue.. I've had a few people tell me I look like Renee Zellwegger (sp?), so she would probably play me.

Do you play an instrument?

If you could learn one instrument with no effort, which would you choose?

Who are some of your favorite musicians? (Top 5 or 10, or whatever).

don't take my life away, don't take my life away.

1) I took piano lessons for three years, does that count?

2) Either guitar or drums.

3) By musicians do you mean composers, or artists/singers?

Composers, I can only name a few off of my head (shame). Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi... I know more, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Singers: Julie Andrews, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Queen, Pat Benatar, Heart, etc...

If you could go back in time and be cast as one of the children in The Sound of Music, which kid would you like to play?

I've only been to a few theme parks, but the one I really liked was Paramount's Great America (might be under another name now).

Favorite state that I've been to is either California, Washington, or Hawaii.

I'm a morning person, it's my favorite time to drive.

Cat person, all the way.

I had a cat Shadow that I got when I was 9, and my mom got rid of her (without my permission, might I add) when I was 15. I didn't speak to my mom for a week. I also had a cat Taz that lived at my dad's house when I was about 15.

In no particular order:

Funny Girl
The Producers (the later one)
Gone With the Wind
Blazing Saddles
The Sound of Music

My favorite author is Chelsea Cain. I've read all of her books, and am waiting very impatiently for the next book in her series to come out. Genre, I like mysteries, and I also read a lot of non-fiction.

The movie question is answered above.

I'd like to live in Europe (too vague?).

I'm a cat person, always have been.

I don't have a garden, and I sometimes wish I did have one.. I don't have a green thumb though, and I tend to kill plants.

Yes, I am sooo looking forward to spring. I want winter to be over, it's cold here, and I'm tired of the windstorms.

i would have to say "Europe" is a bit vague.
Can you narrow it down a bit? A favorite country or somewhere you would be very interested in living.
Thanks!

I actually went to high school with him, and he was friends with my brother. Apparently he liked me all through high school, but I wouldn't give him the time of day. We met about five years later when he came to church (completely threw me off, since I was comparing him to the guy I knew in high school). He kept telling me to call him, and I kept forgetting, since I was so busy with work. I finally called him, and we talked on the phone for awhile, and then started dating.

We're having a small ceremony, I'm hoping no more than 50 people.

I have read the book Wicked, and loved it. The way I see it, I can't really compare them, since they are soo different. I loved the stage play, and wish it would come back here.

No, I actually really like wedges.

No, I haven't.. I might do that today though, assuming I don't get blown away.

Life will get busier, since I'm gaining two daughters out of it. I'll also get more money for school. The thing I'm most looking forward to is living with my best friend (we're trying to find a place now, hopefully it happens soon), and coming home to somebody every night. Knowing that he's there for me, and will take care of me if I need it.

Favorite fruit: Either pineapple or strawberry.
Vegetable: Artichoke.

Tea! I'm a tea fiend, and nothing goes better with a book than tea, rainy weather, and a cozy house.

Favorite TV show: At the moment, Glee. Sadly, I have to wait to watch it on Hulu.

Salty snacks.. Which is weird, because I hate salty food, and I avoid putting salt on my food.
