Happy Canada Day to all the Canadians on VB!

I wish I lived there with all of you, but your weather is not any better than Wisconsin so I will probably never join your ranks.

I've seriously considered moving there myself for numerous reasons. However, it would be tough to give up Nebraska's tropical climate.

So have I. I have visited Toronto several times and fell in love with that city. I am aiming to move somewhere warmer than Wisconsin though, so Canada simply won't work.

I know, right? It's been raining since the weekend, and no signs of it letting up anytime soon...

Happy Birthday Canada!

By the way, the weather doesn't always "suck". It's a beautiful sunny day today!

Happy Canada Day to all. I would have become a Canuck myself if my brother had been drafted into the US Army back in the 1960's. My mother said the entire family would have packed up and moved to Canada if that happened. But he wasn't, so we didn't.

Too bad. I want your Canadian healthcare system.

I live in what is considered a desert climate in Canada...we do get winter, but it is milder than most places. The weather here is really diverse from place to place....but yes, most of the country is cold in winter. I can send you pics of my sunburn as proof? LOL

Anyway....Happy belated Canada day to all!

It is warmer in the Lower mainlaind and southern areas of the province. Northerm BC, where I grew up, is cold, has longer winters, and has lots of snowfall.

I had to add my 2 cents...I'm a weather junky....I get along well with old people.
