The Official 2016-2017 Veggieboards New Year's Thread

As we (thankfully) draw 2016 to a close, I wish all my vber friends a wonderful 2017. Oh, and 2016, don't let the door hit you where the dog bit you.

2016 has been the best year of my life. Seriously. I've made more friends than ever before, my health improved immensely, I've managed to go vegan and I've lost weight :)

I've been able to stop therapy because my psychiatrist declared me ''mentally stable and healthy''.

Literally all my goals for this year have been completed.

I hope the trend continues in 2017.

Once again, we have successfully completed a revolution around the sun! Shall we celebrate?

This new year I complement friends while only being aware of vegetarian. I wish I could be as casual about life as you guys back when I was nineteen. I want someone to convince me to be vegan at nineteen instead of twenty one, and tell me it was OK at at 25 when my psychopathic boyfriend said River Phoenix died for lack of steak. People who drink milk survive heroine addiction? Love and hate him, all my heart, smart about art, stupid about diet.

Long ago knew this food culture insecure moron. Still don't understand why you don't get we deal with this.

He'd probably be vegan now. It would appeal to his sense of superiority. Even though we loved the 80s.

2016 was full of family drama. My sister came back into my life and completely ruined it. So I had to cut my ties with her permanently.
