Just wondering if anyone else has any New Year's resolutions. I'm not a big New Year's person, but I think I'm going to at least make a considerable effort to...

  • get more sleep, like 7-8 hours per night
  • go to yoga class regularly
  • do more community volunteer work
  • get straight A's! (yes, I'm talking to you, AP Calculus)
  • make my lifestyle more vegan

I don't normally make New Year resolutions, either especially about dieting, but I have a BIG birthday coming in February and I am at least 10 pounds overweight (meaning if I lose ten pounds I will be at the high end of what's good for my height and build). I'd like to lose 15. The extra weight is affecting my mood.
I already exercise 4-5 times a week. Can't kick that up any higher so I need to reduce my caloric intake.
I am pretty healthy and I'm happy about that. But it would be nice to make this little change.

I like New Year's Resolutions because they help me focus and restart. I quit smoking through a New Year's Resolution!
I don't always succeed in accomplishing everything on my list but I usually acommplish at least some of the list items. I try to make the resolutions measurable.

For 2012, my resolutions are these:
- Slim down by eating better and exercising more (goal = lose 10-30 pounds)
- Take my athletic dog out for a run three times a week and walk both dogs everyday
- Help Vegas Veg distribute at least 15,000 pieces of vegan literature
- Do PPV at least 6 times in 2012
- Potty train my son, teach him to count to 10, teach him left from right and the days of the week
- Create better/more systems to clean our home and manage our stuff (goal = downstairs)
- Go back to school

Stop wasting food! I buy too much fresh produce and a lot of it goes to waste.

I want to start doing some kind of regular exercise in 2012. Since my knee surgery this year I have been less and less active.

Mine are still in the works, but here goes -

1) Make meditation the priority rather than something that gets fit in when the schedule allows
2) Give hubby and daughter a compliment everyday
3) Less TV, more reading
4) Worry less about appearances - mine or anybody else's
5) Take leaps of faith
6) Trust my talent
7) Pause, breath, and remember that we all have challenges and blind spots

To hook up with Katy Perry and Russell Brand on separate occasions, now that they are both available

Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

If my New Year's resolution is to not make a New Year's resolution, will I have failed?

1. Kick diabetes in the rear
2. Reduce stress
3. Spend more time really appreciating my life
4. Spend more time giving back

I don't think that loosing your virginity for the sake of loosing your virginity is a good idea. You're still a young person. Don't make the special first time a memory that you'd rather forget, by being intimate with someone who's not worthy of your affection. (Just some friendly advice.)

Cool! I don't think I'll ever be TV-free, but the zoning out to HGTV is very unproductive!

1) Stop being a brat on VB and be nice again. (that'll last, like, a minute ).
2) Make some rainbow pancakes to give out at my troll bridge
3) Install a taser on my Gayroller
4) While I'm at it, crush everyone with my Gayroller
5) Have a laydee orgy with the Veggie *****es
6) Gather some more demons
7) Steal Renee's demons
8) Eat more chocolate lava cakes
9) Steal more straws
10) Stalk more people

There's probably more that I just haven't thought of yet, but that's it for now.

OK. I haven't made resolutions in years, but this year is going to be a big one in my life, so perhaps I should think about it.

1) Move to Montreal. <- Already set, aside from a few logistical issues.

2) Study French. <- Duh. See #1

3) Ensure the brat doesn't enslave me. <- She's an adorable brat, though. <3

4) Maintain my new found positivity. <- Nearly everything in my life has changed (my doing) in the past two months and I feel great about that!

5) Eat regularly. Sleep sometimes.

6) Enjoy the time I have left in this (awful) city with the wonderful new person I've let into my life.

THIS. Sleeping habits are a huge issue for me. It's not even as if I have a serious sleep problem, but I'm just so busy during the day that when I finally get home I crave "me time" so I end up surfing the Internet, reading, talking to friends, etc and before I know it, it's super late; and thanks to this, I'm hardly ever running at my optimum potential during the day.

I don't make resolutions since I know I won't accomplish them haha

However some thing I would love for this year are
-loose weight [like I say every year]
-do well in school and raise my GPA
-get another job
-pay off my debts
-get a life

That sounds about right.

You call me sweet like I'm some kinda of cheese....vegan cheese 0.0

Man, if I would do that, then I'd probably have to wait until I became 24 in order to have sex.
