Hi krista! Welcome to veggieboards!!!! Haven't been vegan for long? I've been vegan for over a month. I've never been to QLD before... wanna go up there. Your sister may be converting to vegetarian? Sweet. My mum has been officially converted to vegetarian! Today's her 2nd official day. lol!

If anyone is interested, the current poll on ninemsn is 'do naked animal cruelty protestors offend you?' http://ninemsn.com.au/

...no. But clothed ignorant twats who give their dollar to allow the cruelty to occur, offend me. No is winning... but it's about 44000 - 22000. At least they were good looking naked people. I hate these polls, they are never specific enough. It's asking two questions here when it should be focusing on one.

Sure am new! I was a vegetarian for a few days, but felt that just wasn't enough. I felt terrible for every cage egg I ate, for every glass of milo/coffee/tea with milk. I decided enough was enough and on day 3 of Vegetarianism, I became Vegan! So far so good (though at first I did think free-range eggs were allowed - Not eating them anymore though!). I'm finding it pretty confusing with the ingredients so far but I'm sure I'll get there!

Thanks, girl! I voted! It's great!! More people aren't offended by them. hehe.

It's quite offending when people know that they are eating factory-farmed meat and they continue eating, without feeling any remorse what so ever!

WOW! You're a super trooper!! hehe. It took me over a year to go vegan. hehe. Yeah, it is pretty darn confusing. I still find it confusing sometimes. I'll have to print off a list of animal-derived ingredients from one of the vegan Australian websites.

Thankyou! The 'Earthlings' documentary was the ice breaker for her, I think!

Yeah! It's great, hey? I'm proud of her that she's wanting to be more healthy and is doing something even more to make it happen.

**** yeah, they went all out to be a bit radical this time.

I don't like it when I can pick the influences really easily too. It's like, who are we listening to at the moment that we want to sound like
