I am all about it anyway, despite living in West Allis. My folks live near Madison, so we'll just have to stay over. Chili is my favorite thing to make, and how much fun will a cook-off be???

Oh, and if you haven't heard of them, Alliance for Animals is a wonderful organization out of Madison. They are full of information, and they keep Madison lawmakers aware of animal rights. I believe they are also the group that got the elephants removed from the Madison zoo. Thank goodness. Those guys had no room at all.

I have never made chili before... even when I was an omni. I will happily go taste a bunch of them though.

The secret to good chili is to put a little bit of celery in. Makes a BIG difference!
