it makes some people gassy, which could be seriously dangerous to your social life.

definitely dont wanna be drinkin soymilk in any form. i mean, if you do, people might start to suspect certain lifestyle things. oh...wait...then do--cept 8th cont. as someone previously mentioned--if you are vegan anyway!! i really love all brands i have come into contact with--even powdered. i stray away from flavored ones with too much sugar, and like ones that are fortified with more calcium than others. i will buy what is on sale and what i have coupons for. i am cheap!! good luck!

When looking for non-dairy milk, just check to see what kind of Vitamin D they use. If they use Vitamin D2, it's vegan. If it's D3 or D1, it's not.

Welcome to the boards, Kris.

Silk has 2 types of soymilk that I absolutely adore. The soy nog and the chocolate silk. Everything else is either too sweet to too close to the real thing for my taste.

And yea, vegans can drink soy milk as long as it has the right type of vitamin D and so can vegetarians, and so can lactose intolerants, and so can......

I've always been a bigger fan of RiceMilk. I never liked the taste of whole milk when I wasn't vegan, and SoyMilk has a "taste" where as RiceMilk reminds me more of skim. Is that weird? RiceMilk is vegan though I think. I never actually looked at the ingredients. hmm...

I once hard that when soymilk gets inside the body it turns like a tar like substance. I'm dead serious this guy had a seminar and everything about what it does to your body but i must admit I've still kept on guzzling my vanilla delight vitasoy. Am i the only one thats heard this?

Dude, that is just vile. I think that is BS. I do know that milk does nasty things in your body, like curdling and all kinds of sick stuff.

That's abusurd. That means that any soy product will do that, and that just doesn't make sense. (could I have use the word "that" any more times?) I think the guy must have been working for the dairy industry.

So I recently fell in love with vanilla 8th continent soy milk. I have tried rice dream (?) and vanilla soymilk and couldnt stand either one. although I did enjoy silk nog, until 8th cont, i haven't found a milk alternative i can enjoy. Even though now I am lacto-ovo, i still wish it was vegan
