I love in food in general and don't think I could narrow it down to one item but my favourite cuisine would be malaysian, yum!! I'm not any good at making it though so my favourite food that I can actually cook is probably falafel and simple things like sheperds pie and lasagne.

I also have such a sweet tooth and love anything with sugar cookies, cakes etc.

I knowm it sounds a bit dull, and there are loads of foods I love, but a really crispy baked potato, which has been rubbed with oil and salt before baking and scored with a knife to get the crispy bits... Yum!

I am no help with this one, misq17, because my favorite food is spaghetti. But if you are looking for other good stuff to eat, make sure to check out the recipe threads. Oh, and muppetcow has a great stew somewhere on VB.

Hehe.. freakyvegan and scareyvegan both like potatoes

I have many favorite foods. But when in doubt, it's always either oatmeal or banana. Or the two combined

Eggplant Parmagian my favourite, but it makes me sick, so I can't eat it anymore. After that, maybe veg sushi, but again, makes me sick.

Thats really sad, all of my favourite things I can think of make me ill.

I don't like this thread anymore!! <sulk>

I make this really quick, really good combination of beans, peas, corn and salsa that I basically live off of. Other than that, I love anything curried or made with garam masala. mmmmmmmm...........

I am a big Italian fan so I love to eat pasta or ravoli with chunky tomato sauce. I am a big fruit and yogurt fan so I lovea bowl blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries with vanilla yogurt and granola. Other favorites: avocados, risotto, couscous, tomatoes, cereal, bread, and black bean veggie burgers. Out and about, I love subway's veggie delight sandwhich and panera bread's veggie sandwhich.

My favorite food of the month is sweet potato and green pea samosas with orange guava dipping sauce. Yummy!

But I really love just about anything, so I'll have a different fav next month, most likely. :-)

Spicy tofu with veggies from the local Vietnamese restaurant with vegetarian "egg" rolls - they call them egg rolls but there's no egg in them.

I guess that doesn't help you much with variety in your diet, unless you live near this restaurant too, but that's my favorite food.

Along with watermelon and blueberries.

Mangoes. The food I seem to end up cooking the most is stir fry with rice noodles. So quick and easy and tasty.

Love the post? Why not buy the T-shirt!

I think my most favorite food is little veggie sushi rolls. I've always liked anything that can be eaten with chopsticks. They're neat. According to my chopstick package, they were originally used as an alternative to knives, which were a symbol of violence. I think that's awesome - it's sort of like an ahimsa statement every time I sit down to eat. Plus, those little rolls are so elegant. And colorful. And perfectly bite size. And hit the spot. Etc, etc.

and just about anything...

My favorite is probably toasted rye bread with peanut butter, stir fry collard with gomashio and banana sandwich. Perhaps with a drizzle of sweetened blackstrap!
