I am going to Sakura for Dinner, a Japanese steakhouse. Do I want....



Avocado/cucumber rolls, salad, and a side of the cooked veggies....



or



The veggie meal with rice, salad, and cookies (or "cooked" if your not thinking about cookies while typing veggies....

I don't know how different a Japanese steakhouse is from a regular Japanese restaurant, but perhaps the following thread will help.

As mentioned, miso soup is often (but not necessarily always) made with fish stock. See if they'll make it with vegetable stock.
