Has anyone seen the new KFC commercial? I saw it last night. It starts off with this guy talking to his friend, but the friend can't be seen yet. "Dude you look great!! What have you been doing?" The camera then reaveals the friend, eating FRIED chicken out of a KFC bucket, and with a mouthful of chicken, he casually says "Eatin' chicken." Then the announcer goes on the boast that a piece of KFC chicken "has only 11 grams of carbs and 40 grams of protein!" Hopefully, the American public won't actually buy into this. KFC is actually advertising its fried chicken as a healthy food choice. The commercial conveniently left out how much fat and cholesterol are loaded into that once piece of chicken. I'm 5'9 and 170 lbs. I used to be morbidly obese, weighing in at 270 lbs. It just saddens to know that there are people who will watch that commercial and actually start eating KFC thinking it will help them lose weight. A big part of my 2 year weightloss period was educating myself about food. So many Americans are uneducated about food, especially animal products. Well, I just wanted to vent for a little bit. Has anyone seen this commercial yet? Thoughts? Thanks for reading.

There's already a thread on this subject, so I'm locking this one up.

We see the world as "we" are, not as "it" is; because it is the "I" behind the "eye" that does the seeing.
