The banana waffles made me almost vomit today whereas my daughter ate them and is fine. I won't be buying those again

LOVE the green tea... I buy the bags in bulk and brew a gallon for the fridge (for my family and I).



What I used to do... I'd buy the low carb wheat tortillas (you can use any kind), then I'd make some scrambled egg whites, put them on the tortilla along with some of the guacamole and some hot sauce... Yum I stopped eating eggs a while back, but I miss that.



My bf wanted to move out of state for law school... I told him San Diego is my top choice, and now he's starting to lean the same way. San Diego has everything: Trader Joe's, Henry's (Wild Oats), Whole Foods... I'd be in HEAVEN

What was wrong with the banana waffles? I have a tiny issue with frozen waffles... usually the burn on the outside and are frozen in the middle. I put them in the microwave for a few seconds first before they go to the toaster. I really like the banana waffles, I've just cut back on what I buy now because I end up not eating it.



I had this for the first time today and LIKED it (never before have I liked tofu): Stir Fry (asparagus, carrots, green beans, etc), brown rice, and pressed firm tofu soaked in teriyaki sauce. Yummmm! New delicious meal!

I just went there last night!! I don't get there too often seeing as it's a 40 minute drive but I got:

Chili

Black Bean Soup

Split Pea Soup

Mini Pita Bread

Frozen Thai-Style Soy Ginger Carrots...delish!!

Potato Medley (frozen)





Few other things too but I don't remember what.... I love, love, love the fact that they sell re-usable insulated shopping bags AND they're only 2 bucks...fabulous, just fabulous!! Love it!! Peace & Love!!

How IS that ezekial bread? I almost bought it but for some reason the whole thing with the scripture on the front turned me off from buying it. It just felt weird reading bible scipture on my bread.

My TJ does a "make your own six-pack" where you can buy mix-n-match beers in a six-pack. Pretty neat, says the lush. I like getting snacks for the office there, too, especially dried fruit. And then there's this blonde who works there on the weekends. Oh, and the chili spiced mango. That's a no-brainer.

re: Ezekiel Bread. I've had it 3 times now, and found it absolutely revolting every time. Kind of like eating compressed dirt. We had some over Christmas and even IS, who's not picky about bread, didn't dig it. Bleah.

I think the TJ's brand sprouted bread (I buy the rye) is much better than Ezekiel. Read the ingredients though since, although I know the sprouted rye is vegan, I can't remember if all of their sprouted breads are.

I'm not a huge fan either. It reminds me of sandpaper. I know it's super healthy, but I'd rather eat something else. I used to buy the 8 grain TJ brand, but it's been a while since I've needed bread.... I've been living off some I bought from the HFS 2 months ago and the Sara Lee corn syrup filled kind *shrugs* It's soft.

TJ's has these little single-serving plastic packages of biryani rice that are awesome and vegan! Perfect for a quick healthy meal.
