Trader Joe's is my favorite store! My staple items (I have an unhealthy diet, hehe) are 1/2 the price of my local grocery store's "meatless" section. My staple items are:

Trader Joes Meatless Corndogs

Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon

Morningstar Farms Breakfast Sausage Patties

Gardenburger Riblets

Vegetable Masala (sp?) burgers

Whole-wheat pastas

Frozen Trader Giotto's Cheese Pasta

Southern Mix Greens

Salad

Tofurkey

Fresh pizza dough

Foccacia Bread

Ezekiel Bread

Earth Balance

Naan bread

I'm sure there's more I'm missing. I just love Trader Joes!

Nuts, bread, rice/soy milk and tofu I find cheaper at the Co-Op or asian markets. I don't buy much else that's processed/packaged/premade.

Trader Joe's used to be cheaper for rice milk, but they raised their prices recently. I haven't checked out nut prices at our Asian groceries but they could be lower, but TJ's has great low prices in our area.

For me convenience foods are very important because I just don't enjoy spending my time fixing meals for the most part.

We love their frozen vegetarian potstickers.

Their tofu is very reasonably priced.

Their Charles Shaw red wine - two buck Chuck - is excellent, and only $2 a bottle.

Great selection of nuts and dried fruit also.

My fav is the cinnamon pita chips and the old fashion graham crackers ... the thick ones that are more like cookies.

My TJ's favorites:

Gardenburger Riblets

Soy nuggets

Nut butters

Tofu

Tofurkey

Coffee

Wasabi Peas

Shampoo and conditioner

Body Lotion

whole wheat pasta

I never buy produce there because I also hate the extra packaging and I prefer to pick my own veggies and fruit out, not to mention these items are overpriced at TJ.

Agree, it's BAD! I prefer the Lightlife Smart Bacon. It doesn't taste a dang thing like bacon, but I love it. It's definately an aquired taste. I like to overcook mine and then dip it in maple syrup

Okay, I'm about to take a mental trip through the store...

~Lettuce mix (for my rabbit)

~Carrots

~Nuts (huge selection, great price)

~Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal

~Soy Milk (regular and chocolate)

~Spinach Ricotta ravioli

~Guacamole

~Tea (Pomegranate White Tea, Stash Lemon Ginger)

~Stick Butter & Earth Balance

~Organic Lemon Yogurt (It's yummy, but always throw it away b/c I don't eat it)

~Eggs (for my dog, $1.19 for a dozen!)

~Gardenburger Riblets (although the last 2 times they've tasted like cigges)

~Frozen peas, asparagus, and stir fry veggies

~Penne arrabbiata (AWESOME and vegan)

~Frozen brown rice

~Double Rainbow Soy ice cream (Cherry chocolate chip)

~Organic Sugar

~Pure maple syrup

~Personal products (soaps, face wash, laudry detergent)

~Dog Food cans (not for me, obviously)

~Canned beans (always like to have a couple on hand)

~Pita cinnamon sugar chips

~8 in 1 bread

~Handmade tortillas

I could keep going, but I'll spare everyone

A few things on your list could have been in my basket if not for my daughter acting out of her mind with boredom I like the pita cinnamon chips, didn't get any of those. Missed the guac and definitely missed the pome tea. At least I have my apple rings

How old is your daughter?

The guacamole I get is this one: http://flickr.com/photos/megrje/465299530/

Love it! No onion chunks (something I hate at restaurants).

I LOVE tea... I'm a tea-aholic. I'm drinking cranberry blood orange now (Republic of Tea).
