Didn't it feel good to get all that out?
I think the same thing a lot, too. When I'm outside, walking by McDonald's on my way to class, I see all the people chowing down on cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, and fish sandwiches while their kids have a "Happy" Meal. It makes me want to cry, scream, and throw something, all at the same time. I just want to yell, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Look at what you're putting into your mouth you !&%[email protected]
#" They don't get it. And you're right - it is sickening and disgusting.
But then I realize that some of those people are never going to change. Some of them will never think about what they are eating. So after walking by McDonald's, I take a deep breath and hope that those people open their eyes someday.
ETA: Please remember these things the next time you want to "intentionally slip-up":
So then I was looking at pictures, to get myself back into vegetarian-mode. I started to cry and I wanted to throw up. I had to stop looking at the pictures of those poor helpless animals. I saw a picture of a cow with a broken neck and I started to hate humans...how could they let those poor animals suffer??? How are these things legal??
How could you eat meat?
Remember the pictures. Remember your compassion.
