I am currently having a battle with a brain tumor I have had for quite some time, and is now growing back. I have heard many good things about a macrobiotic diet, but I can't find any real specific information on it. Can someone help guide me?

Macrobiotics is basically eating simply, seasonally and locally with a strong emphasis on cooked food. From my understanding, there are also elements of food combining. It is usually a vegan diet and some people add fish (I believe for the omega-3's, but of course there are healthier vegan sources of that).

You could also go to and type in cancer and macriobiotic and see what you get.

I wish you good health!

See the thread "What's Macrobiotic?" There are a lot of links listed there:

May you get well soon.
